Changeover day
Arrival and departure changeover days can be flexible We will do are best to accommodate guest’s for flight times, but, departure is by 10am and arrival after 6pm if not agreed by prior arrangement

Notes on accommodation
We have a strict no smoking policy inside, but you are free to smoke outside using ash trays supplied. Air-conditioning and central heating are included in the price but we would ask that the air-conditioning be operated correctly. If used with doors open damage can occur. Please turn air-conditioning off when going out. Private pool area is equipped with loungers.

Coast/Beach
Los Alcazares enjoys on average 320 days of glorious sunshine each year making this the ideal year round holiday destination. The town sits on the western shore of the beautiful Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a 22 kilometre long strip of land called La Manga. The warm water of the Mar Menor helps makes the town a paradise for bathers and water sports enthusiasts.
Golf
The Mar Menor Golf Resort is the first out of four Polaris World Resorts to be completed in this 'golfer’s paradise'. It is set in Murcia, one of the richest provinces of Spain. The course was opened for play June 2005. It is a private course only available to people staying on the resort and owners. This 'private and exclusive' golf course at present is 9 holes, but will be extended to 18 holes in the very near future. The course was designed by Dave Thomas. The back nine holes to be ready for 2006 have been designed by Jack Nicklaus, as have all the other Polaris World golf courses in the area (due to open from 2006 onwards) once all four courses are completed owners and their guests will be able to play on all the resort courses and have use of all facilities. The golf courses at La Manga Club, Villamartin, golf Altorreal, golf Campoamor or golf Las Ramblas are open to all enthusiastic golfers as well.
Travel
San Javier airport is just 7km away and Alicante is about 45 mins. You can arrange car hire via the internet or at the airport.
Distances
Mar Menor Golf Resort enjoys a fantastic setting - located near Torre Pacheco, it is just 5 minutes drive from the Mar Menor. The provincial capital, Murcia, is only a 30 minute drive away. The area is extremely accessible from the UK with regular flights from the UK to both Alicante Airport, just 40 minutes drive away and Murica's San Javier Airport a mere 8 kilometres away! The beautiful city of Cartegena is only 15 minutes drive away with its historical buildings and designer shops.
Further details
Beaches and markets - there are many glorious beaches along the Mar Menor, the regions top attractions, all are easily reached by car. The safe warm water of the Mar Menor, which is rich in minerals is a paradise for bathers and water enthusiasts alike. Also it's health giving properties are a bonus for sufferers of arthritis etc. The town of Los Alcazares still has thermal baths, which have been there from Roman times! Los Alcazares holds two weekly street markets, selling various products such as clothing and fresh food. It also hosts several festivals, including the international celebration of La Huerta. Throughout the last two weeks in August, groups representing market garden areas throughout Spain and other European countries gather to display their folklore, handicrafts and prepare gastronomic feasts from their local produce.
The following services are available at extra cost: daily clean, welcome food and drink pack, pick up from either Murcia (San Javier) or Alicante Airport, or from Torre Pacheco Railway Station. Booking notes
Please pay a 20% deposit to secure your booking. Non refundable if cancelled. The balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. We also request a £100 deposit in case of damages. This will be refunded following a satisfactory property check, within one week of your departure. For larger groups we can arrange bookings with nearby villas.
