The villa is beautifully positioned high up the private Urbanisation of Monte de los Almendros, with steps leading up to it. It is a comfortably furnished, light, airy, well equipped villa on one level. All the rooms are marble floored and have stunning views overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The pool area is equipped with garden furniture and also has direct sea views. There are three double bedrooms, the master bedroom has a large en suite bathroom with (bath and separate shower also bidet)and leads onto the pool area. There is also a second family bathroom (again with bath and shower). The living room has an open log fire and leads onto a terrace with dining furniture and a built in barbeque. There are a number of sunny terraces and seating areas, the garden has a variety of fruit trees (avocados, lemons, oranges, figs, grapes etc. with a selection of plants and flowers.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has a solar panel heated pool with easy entrance and corner steps. The garage is secure and locable.
The plot is generally south facing. (880 sq.m.) fully security fenced, with lockable entrance gate.
The walled and gated pool provides safety when young children are in residence.
Accessibility
There are a number of steps leading up to the villa, renters need to be fairly mobile. There are handrails and lighting.
Outside
Garden area with seating, barbeque, outdoor furniture. There is a 4m x 8m private pool which can be solar heated.
The pool and garden is professiunly maintained.
Coast/Beach
The beach is only 10 minutes drive away in the local town of Salobrena. The beach is reasonabley sized and not as touristy as some other Costa beaches. There are also several other beaches close by.
Golf
Los Moriscos beachside 18 hole golf course near Motril is just a 15 minute drive away. There are many more golf courses towards Malaga.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada, Europe's most southerly ski resort, is 70 minutes drive from Salobreña. Usually open late December thru early May.
Travel
The nearest airport is Granada which is one hour's drive away and opened up to commercial flights in 2005. Airlines to Granada are Ryanair & Monarch. Malaga airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes drive and is operated by most airlines.
Distances
Salobrena is a whitewashed village with some historic interest, 10 minutes by car. The town of Motril is about 15 minutes drive and is the second biggest town next to Granada, Almenuca is a 20 minutes drive (interesting for Roman remains). There are other villages surrounding the area.

La Herradura and Marina del Este complex: 30 minutes.
Las Alpujarras mountain villages: 35 minutes.
Granada & Alhambra Palace: 50 minutes.
Nerja & the Caves: 30 minutes.
There are restaurants, tapas bars, banks, shops and supermarkets in Salobrena.
