Pleasant, air conditioned 2 bedroom apartment with enclosed south and north facing balconies in quiet, established central village location. Overlooks shared communal pool. The apartment also has a garage. The lovely shingle beach at Playa Albir is less than 10 mins walk away. Wonderful views of Sierra Helada and Sierra Biernia to the south and north of apartment. Situated conveniently for local bars, restaurants, supermarkets and local shops. Ideal for winter, spring and autumn breaks as well as summer holidays.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. We can also quote in euros.
Bookings in July/August must be for at least 7 nights - outside of these months we accept shorter stays eg weekends and will quote for these as requested. We offer discounts for stays of 21 consecutive nights or longer. This is on the basis of approx 20% discount for each additional night booked after the 20th night. We also offer further discounts on stays of 2 months or longer.
Changeover day
Saturday's preferred, although we can be flexible.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has double bed and built-in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and built-in wardrobe and safe. There is also a large sofa bed in the lounge. |

| Kitchen: | Fully fitted kitchen with excellent hob and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, iron and ironing board. |

| Other: | Both balconies are enclosed by sliding glass windows and can be fully opened up. They add wonderful additional space to the main living areas all year round. The front balcony has 2 luxurious loungers and a small dining table and chairs. |

Property will be cleaned both prior to and after visit. Beds will be made prior to arrival. Hand and bath towels, linen and hairdryer are provided. |

Accessibility
Secure entry-phone system. The flat is located on the 1st floor of the building. Access to the lift is at mezzanine level (3 steps above entrance hall).
Outside
The private communal swimming pool is shared by residents and guests of Alpisol only and is accessed via a locked gate.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Albir (Playa Albir) is less than 10 mins walk from the apartment. It can be accessed by walking past the bars, shops and restaurants of Avenida del Albir or more directly by walking along the Bulevar del Musicos. The beach is a very clean pebble beach, offering sun-loungers, parasols and pedaloes for hire.
Golf
There is a golf driving range in Albir, which shares its ground with Sporting Alfas Cricket Club. The Costa Blanca has a variety of golf courses for all skill levels. The local courses to Albir are Don Cayo just beyond Altea and new Jack Nicklaus designed Real de Faula Golf Club - both approx 15 mins drive from Albir. There are also famous courses at El Soler and El Bosque near Valencia, plus Villamartin, Real Campoamor and La Finca near Torrevieja. These are all approx 90 mins drive away. There is also a pleasant course near Alicante airport called El Plantio.
Travel
Nearest airports are Alicante (50km), Valencia (90km) or Murcia (120km). Car hire is not essential as shops, beaches, restaurants are walking distance from apartment. Taxis to the resort are available at Alicante Airport. There is also a free bus service to Benidorm from Alicante Airport.
Distances
The famous town of Altea is a 10 min bus ride way, but is a pleasant stroll along the promenade of approx 30 mins. Albir is approx 20 mins to Benidorm by bus. Bus and taxis fares are very affordable. There is also a train station nearby with trains to Calpe, Javea and Denia.
Further details
Local places of interest include: Altea, just up the coast, is the site of a renowned church, a variety of antique shops and other retail outlets nearby. Its well worth a visit or two to sample its great bars and restaurants in the vicinity of the church square. It also has a harbour and marina. Amongst other well known tourist attractions within easy reach are Guadalest, a famous awe-inspiring fortified hilltop village, and the waterfalls at Les Fonts d'Algar. Further afield, the cities of Alicante and Valencia are within an easy day's visit - Valencia in particular is well worth a visit with a spectacular architectural mix of the new and the ancient. Denia is a seaport dating from Roman times. Other attractions include Terra Mitica, Aqualandia and Mundomar, all in the outskirts of Benidorm approx 15 minute drive away.
Booking notes
A non-refundable booking deposit of £100 or 25% (if greater) is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 2 calendar months prior to your arrival date. A refundable deposit of £150 will also be due 2 calendar months prior to your arrival date. This will be fully refundable within 2 weeks after your departure, minus any deductions for damages and breakages. Please note that we do offer the facility to book by the day, eg for weekend breaks, 10 day holidays etc.
