This lovely new (but traditional) two bed apartment (can sleep upto six) is on the ground floor overlooking a stunning courtyard with palm trees and a Jacuzzi behind, and leads to a further lovely courtyard with a communal swimming pool. There is a bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, lounge/diner, satellite tv with free to view channels and air conditioning/heating. Literally a 50 yard stroll takes you out to the sea front and the marina on the edge of this pretty village. Miles of sandy beaches can be found on the other side of town some 10 mins walk away. Villaricos has a supermarket, restaurants and bars and a lively colourful Sunday market so you do not need to go anywhere for essentials. Harbour Lights is a beautiful new high quality development, built in traditional Spanish style. It is situated right on the sea front by the marina in Villaricos; a pretty little fishing village near Garrucha and Mojacar on the Costa de Almeria.

Notes on accommodation
This is a small, traditionally built development in the heart of a friendly fishing village next to the marina. It is secure & child friendly throughout the development.
Accessibility
The property has not been adapted; however the only step from the front of the whole development into the apartment is the one for the terrace at the front.
Outside
There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, courtyard & rockery landscapes - all of which are lit up in the evening. Ample space for the kids to play in the courtyard immediately outside the front door with space for barbecuing on the terrace with outdoor table & chairs.
Coast/Beach
The coast is a beautiful mixture of rocky coves & beaches. There are a couple of shingle beaches within the village (2 min walk) & sandy beaches at either end (5 min walk) of the village linked by a lovely promenade. Further down the coast at San Juan there are miles of sandy beaches with complete with beach cafes & sun-bed hire etc. Also 10 mins away by car is the large beach of Mojacar on the other side of Garrucha.
Golf
There are at least 4 quality golf courses within 10-15 minutes drive, one of them being Desert Springs resort.
Special interest holidays
Within in the village there are two dive centres & also fishing trips can be arranged. The Cabo Gato National park is within 30 minutes drive for anyone interest in hill walking.
Travel
Airports - Almeria 50 minutes, Murcia 1hr 45 minutes, Alicante 1hr 45 minutes. A hire car is recommended, ample parking in front of Harbour Lights.
Distances
The village has 2 small supermarkets, a butcher, fishmonger, restaurants and bars – all within 2-5 minute walk. Larger supermarkets can be found at Garrucha (10 mins away). Other places of interest – Vera 5 mins, Cuevas de Almanzora 15 mins, Almeria 50 mins & San Juan de los Terreros 15 mins. Desert Springs & the Crocodile Club are 10 minutes away.
Further details
Villaricos is a small honest fishing village with a vibrant market on Sunday morning. It is well situated to visit larger towns & investigate other areas of the beautiful Almanzora valley. Nearby there are place of historical interest through to water parks & the favoured Crocodile Club at Desert Springs to completely relax on the long hot sunny afternoons.
