Traditional Spanish living in this 2 storey stone villa, private garden, horreo and well. Located within a quiet Asturian town, you can enjoy the coast, its wide sandy beaches (blue flag), cliffs and lighthouses, the towns of Luarca and Cudillero are both spectacular and famous for their restaurants, the proximity to the coast influences many aspects of life from the painted fishing boats in Luarca harbour to the range of local seafood available in restaurants and local shops. But you can also escape to the mountains, losing yourself on twisting mountain roads and discovering tiny remote villages, there are many nature reserves located in the interior but watch out for the bears. This part of Spain is one of the most undeveloped, and still preserves a traditional way of life, farming and fishing and offers tremendous opportunities for a wonderful holiday.

Accessibility
I'm sorry but we don't yet have the house adapted for wheelchair access. But hopefully next year.
Outside
The garden has a metal framed children's swing included and we also have garden furniture and a hammock to enjoy the summer sun and of course the barbecue.
Coast/Beach
Playa de la Cueva 2km away, Playa de Otur 20km, Reserva Natural Playa de Barayo (nudist beach) 25km. The beaches for this part of the coast are sandy and beautiful and usually have a lifeguard. Good for kids and for surfing although care should be taken with the tides. You will be surprised by just how green and unspoilt the coast is.
Special interest holidays
There is trout fishing available in the river Esva as well as sea fishing from the beach. We do need some notice to arrange permits etc.. best that you contact us for more information.

Aviles Intl Airport. 40km. We would recommend renting a car, public transport is not great although the local train does stop in the village.
Distances
Cudillero 20km away, Luarca is 13km away.

There are plenty of choices when it comes to shopping for food, Luarca, Cudillero and Trevias are all close by but you will need a car to travel around.
