Outside
This detached villa has a good sized private pool. A spacious tiled verandah overlooks the large private paved garden. There is an outside shower and a separate toilet and washbasin. The Spanish barbecue has kitchen facilities. There are 2 roof terraces, 1 with mountain and sea views.
There is a small courtyard in front of the villa with ample space for parking.
Coast/Beach
There are a number of small sandy coves ideal for children because of their shallow waters within 5 mins drive. The beaches are rarely busy even in the summer months. 20 mins drive in 1 direction takes you to the busier resort of Miami and in the opposite direction to the deserted beaches of the Ebro nature reserve.
Golf
There is a golf course within 20 minutes drive and other courses in the area.
Travel
Reus Airport 30 mins drive away is served by Ryanair, who fly from Luton, Stansted, Liverpool, Dublin. A number of charters also fly in from UK airports. Alternatively it is possible to fly to Barcelona then either take a train or hire a car.
A hired car is highly recommended.
Distances
Lovely coves and beaches are approximately 2km away. A small supermarket, restaurant and bar are within walking distance. The fishing village of L’Ametlla de Mar, with its shops, restaurants and bars, is an very easy 3km drive. Barcelona is 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car or train.

Nearby attractions include Universal Studios theme park and water park - Port Adventura, Costa Caribe - Barcelona and Tarragona.
For something completely different, the Ebro River and Delta are 30 to 40 minutes drive. This beautiful river, the longest in Spain, is renowned for its fishing (carp and catfish). Following it up through the mountains takes you through some lovely Spanish mountain villages and picturesque scenery. Alternatively, the wetlands of the Delta Nature Reserve are of particular interest to bird watchers because of the large variety of species of birds that can be found there.
