Walk in the other direction and you are in stylish, sophisticated Llafranc making this a great location for a family holiday or for couples in search of real Catalunya. The apartment was specifically designed to make self catering a pleasure - with all new appliances and top quality kitchenware. Furniture and decoration in the living room is of a high standard and reflects the area, with local pottery and photographs from Calella's past. Two bedrooms both with 2 single beds and built in wardrobes offer flexible accommodation for families, friends or couples. The secure complex has pretty gardens with a huge swimming pool, tennis courts and play area. Perfect as a touring base: golf courses, historic towns, coastal walks, the Dali trail, mountains, and Roman ruins - all within an easy drive.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday - but out of season this may be flexible. Arrival time should be after 2pm unless by special arrangement. Departure time is 10am.

Living Rooms: Tastefully furnished living room with dining area for 6 people, seating area with stereo system, colour TV, DVD player with large selection of DVD's in English and leather sofa.
Other: A balcony extends along the exterior of the main bedroom and sitting room at first floor height with patio set for four people.

Bed linen and towels included and the property will be cleaned before arrival. Extra cleaning can be arranged on request at an extra charge. For 2 week lets, a mid rental clean will be included.

Accessibility
There is a slope from the road to the apartment with one step up to the garden path. There is a further single step up to the terraced area outside the apartments.

Outside
Well kept gardens surround the community which has a large swimming pool. There are two tennis courts, table tennis area and a new children’s play area. Although the apartment is accessed on the ground floor, the sloping site means the balcony is at 1st floor level. This gives easy access for families with small children or older people with less mobility, but gives privacy when sitting outside. There is a patio set for 4 people on the balcony which looks across the private drive to a small olive grove and to the left, down to the sea.

Coast/Beach
The unspoilt sandy beaches of Calella de Palafrugell are a 7 min walk. Sophisticated Llafranc beach is a 10 min walk
Many other beautiful bays within a half hour drive.

Golf
The apartment is ideally situated for a golfing holiday with three excellent courses within 20 mins drive - Pals,(18) Serres de Pals (18) and Emporda (36 holes). The Championship course at PGA Catalunya (36 holes) is an easy 40 min drive away. There are also courses at Figueres, Girona and Platja d'Aro within an hours drive.

Travel
Closest airport is Girona 40 min drive. Barcelona airport is 1½ hour drive. Once in the resort, Car hire is not essential as the apartment is within walking distance of beaches and restaurants. However, car hire will provide the opportunity to explore the coastline, historic towns and beautiful scenery of the area.

Distances
The town of Palafrugell with a good selection of shops and a great market is a ten minute drive inland. Amazingly well preserved medieval villages of Peratallada, Begur and Pal are all around 20 mins drive. Girona 40 mins, Barcelona 1½ hour drive. Some of the best restaurants in the Costa Brava can be found within a half hour drive - a full list of sight seeing and restaurant recommendations based on 9 years experience in the area can be provided for confirmed bookings.

Further details
Mountain bikes can be hired locally and the coastal path provides a great walk for families or experience hikers alike. There are 2 dive schools in Calella who can organise Padi course or snorkelling and one in Llafranch.

£100 deposit required on confirmed bookings. Full payment required 6 weeks before departure. Bed linen included in the price. Towels can be provided at an extra cost. Gas, water and electricity included in the cost. The property is cleaned for your arrival. Extra cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost on lets of over 1 week.
