It is laid to lawn with flowering shrubs, palms and a brick BBQ and Terraces. There are plenty of outdoor areas for dinning, playing or relaxing in the sunshine. Las Ramblas is a tranquil and pretty oasis that is perfect also for those that do not play golf. There are plenty of walks along the canal and through the hills and local farmland. There are stunning views to the coast just a few kilometers. All this and yet you are only a few minutes drive from an abundance of supermarkets, restaurants, shops, bars and night life.

A cleaning charge of 60 Euros is to be added and is payable locally to our house manager during your stay.
Discounts available for lets of four weeks or more. Special rates for long lets of 3 months and over. Flights and car hire can be also be arranged.
Changeover day
Saturday changeover is preferred but is flexible to suit guests needs.

Notes on accommodation
The property is fully alarmed and fitted with smoke detectors. It is fully heated during the winter months.
A full hire service can be provided for items such as: bicycles, cots, high chairs, toys etc. Please enquire and let us know your requirements.
The private walled garden and ground floor location make this property ideal for families with young children and the elderly who have difficulty with stairs. The communial gardens surrounding the property are pedestrianised with few roads. The shared pool area is fenced for added safety. There is a childrens play area within a 5 minute walk.
Accessibility
Private parking is only 25 mtrs away with no inclines or steps. The only gradiants within the property are two steps from the garden.
Outside
Within the relaxing garden are two tiled terraces where you can enjoy a drink, eat al fesco and watch the sun set behind the hills. There is a large brick BBQ and out door lighting. Sun loungers and patio furniture are provided.
The beautiful swimming pool is just 25 metres from the property. The pool has a charming waterfall feature, baby pool and showers. Straw parasols, palm trees and other tropical plants provide shade. The pool area is fenced for safety.
The property is just 200 metres from the 17th fairway of the
golf course and a 5 minute stroll from the club house.
Coast/Beach
Within a 5 to 10 minute drive are the excellent blue flag beaches and picturesque coves of La Zenia, Cala Capitan, Campoamor, Mil Palmeras and Cabo Roig, all with soft white sand. Water sports are also available. The beach of La Mata is situated on the edge of Torrevieja and a few minutes further north are the beaches of Guardemar and Santa Pola. The Mar Menor is 15 minutes away and is excellent for water sports on the lagoon. It is popular with the Spanish with fine beaches and local dishes.
Golf
The property is less than a two minute walk to the 17th fairway of the challenging 18 hole course at Las Ramblas. Campoamor and the Championship course of Villamartin are within 5 minutes drive offering stunning scenery with that touch of class you would expect in Southern Spain. All offer clubhouse facilities and restaurants. Within 10 to 15 minutes drive is the course of La Finca, the newest of all the courses in the region, and La Marquesa. If you don’t mind a slightly longer drive of around 45 minutes you will find the golf resort of La Manga; situated on the southern tip of the Mar Menor and Mosa Trajectum a new inland course. All of this makes for a true golfers paradise.
Travel
The main airports for the area are within easy travelling distance. The airport of Murcia (San Javier) is a 20 minute drive from Las Ramblas. While Alicante airport is 40 minutes away. Taxi fares do vary but will cost around 30 euros (Murcia) and 50 Euros (Alicante) each way.
Car hire is advisable especially if you want to explore the surrounding areas.
Distances
This area has so much to offer when it comes to eating and drinking as you are not far from the bars and restaurants of Cabo Roig and Villamartin. Here you will find bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Cabo Roig has plenty of night life with the bars staying open to the small hours.
The nearest supermarkets, shops and banks are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk or a two-minute drive.
Further details
Just a short drive of the property is a Go Karting track, paintball and horse riding. A new health spar, gym, tennis/squash courts and football pitch can be found 2 minutes away at the Campoamor golf course.
The nearest small town is San Miguel. It is very Spanish with its own market. Torrevieja is the closest of the larger towns, just a 15 minute drive. Here you will find shops, bars, marinas, excellent waterfront restaurants, nightclubs and more beaches. Market stalls can be found along the palm tree lined promenade most afternoons and evenings. Torrevieja also has it's own water park - “Aquapark Waterworld”.
An assortment of boat trips and sea fishing trips can all be arranged at the Torrevieja harbour.
Within easy reach by car are the historic towns of Orihuela, Elche, Cartagena, Lorca and Alicante. The city of Murcia is a 45 minute drive away.
“Terra Mitica” – Spain’s answer to Disney World is about an hours drive, just south of Benidorm. Mundomar Marine & Exotic Animal Park in Benidorm also makes an interesting day out for families.
Booking notes
Bookings can be made by telephone, e-mail or fax. A £100 booking deposit is required to confirm your booking. The final balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure when a £100 damage deposit is also payable. This is fully refundable subject to a damage report by our house manager. Keys can be sent to you prior to departure. Guests will be met at the apartment and familierised with the property by our house manager who is contactable 24 hours for emergencies and assistance.
