The villa's position is very tranquil and private and located just on the outskirts of the main village. The land is edged with lit balustrade and kept secure with a large gated entrance. There are 2 terraces. One covered, where you can relax in the sofas or swing in the hanging chairs. The other is uncovered where you can enjoy the mountain views whilst eating breakfast at the table and chairs. Surrounding the private pool is a very large patio area with sun loungers. For alfresco dining, there is a BBQ, table and umbrellas. For children there are swings and outdoor games. Pool/beach towels are supplied. Inside is a large lounge/dinner, which has 2 large leather sofas. There is English Freeview TV, DVD, VHS, a music system & huge collection of dvds to watch. The kitchen is modern with all the essentials. 3 bedrooms are downstairs and 1 up. The family bathroom is down and the en-suite is up. This is a strictly no smoking villa. Outside is permitted whilst using ashtrays.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Discounts will be given over the winter period for stays of 3 weeks or more. This will be discussed.
Winter: Beginning of November through to the end of March.
A security bond cheque of £250 is requested 1 week before you depart. This will be held until you departure and paid back the next day once the villa has been checked.

Changeover day
Saturday changeovers are preferable, but I will be flexible. You will be met at a local petrol station and taken to the villa. The villa must be vacated by 10.30am. If there's no other booking on the same day you can stay until 4.00pm.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 upstairs with double bed.
Bedroom 2 downstairs with king bed.
Bedroom 3 downstairs with 2 single beds.
Travel cot
Bedroom 4 downstairs with double bed.
Each bedroom has bedside tables, double wardrobes, chest of drawers, lamps and a mirror.
Bathrooms: En suite bathoom to bedroom 1 upstairs: WC, bath, shower, twin basins.
Main bathroom to bedrooms 2, 3, 4: WC, bath/shower, basin.
Kitchen: Modern kitchen with cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. Everything you need from baking a cake to squeezing an orange.
Living Rooms: Living room/dining room is 30ft x 17ft. 2 large leather sofas, coffee and side table. The TV has English Freeview with DVD, VHS. A selection of videos/DVD to watch, games and music to play are supplied. For inside eating there is a table and chairs.
Other: Up the marble staircase onto the galleried landing into the first bedroom is another outside terrace, with table and chairs. Here you will see breathtaking views across the mountains.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Beach and pool towels are supplied and there is extra linen if required. The villa can be cleaned halfway through your stay for a small extra charge. The maid is also available for a taxi service and shopping. The pool isn't warm enough to use until May.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has central heating and hot/cold air conditioning. Baby equipment: sterilizer, cot, stairgate, highchair & potty are available at a small local extra charge. The main cupboards and plug sockets are childproofed.

Accessibility
To access the property there are 4 steps with hand rails. The main pool area is crazy paved but the surrounding is gravelled.
Disabled/elderly: There is a downstairs bathroom with a low bath.

Outside
The villa is set on 2000 sq.m. plot of land so there is plenty of space. The pool is private and measures 10m x 4m with Roman steps leading into it, where you can sit and relax. The shallow end is 3ft leading to 6.5ft. This is surrounded by a very large crazy paved area where there are sun loungers, umbrellas, deck chairs, a dining table/chairs and BBQ. The property has swings and outside games for children and is totally secure.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes away by car are the best beaches on the Mediterranean. These have been awarded the 'Blue Flag'. Here you will find resturants and fast food outlets. Located all along the beach are bars, toilets, showers, watersports and climbing frames. Here you will find shopping, nightlife and the Gandia Casino.
There are many other beaches near by that are less commercial, quieter with coves that are great for diving or snorkelling.

Golf
For golf enthusiasts, the well known Oliva Nova Golf, which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros, is within easy reach, only 15 minutes by car. The club, chich has an 18 hole course, 5 hole par 3 course, practice greens, and driving range, occupies 50 hectares of land. After a session of golfyou can also relax in the spa. Within easy reach is the Sella in Denia and Javea golf courses as well as the Seal gold course (south of Valencia).

Special interest holidays
Due to the location there are plenty of nature trails and old castle ruins to visit. The scenery around gives an enourmous scope for artists to enjoy.

Travel
Valencia airport is 50 minutes and Alicante is 1 hour 15 by car.
You can also get to Gandia from Valencia airport by train.
A car is essential which can be hired from the airport.

Distances
1 minute by car or 5 mins by foot to the local village of Villalonga. A short drive away is the modern cosmopolitan, historic town of Gandia. Here you can shop, eat, bowl, visit historic buildings and museums. In the surrounding areas you can visit a distillery, castles, safari, waterpark, markets and casino.

Further details
In Villalonga you will find street cafes and bars, restaurants, supermarket, newsagents, freshwater fountains, playground, internet shop, banks,various general stores and in the evening some nightlife. The village is also know to host some of the best festivals in the area. Dates can be given.

Booking notes
£300 non-refundable deposit. The balance is required 6 week prior to arrival.
A £250 security cheque is required 2 weeks before arrival. Once you depart,the villa will be checked. If all is well the cheque will be returned to you. If there are any damages the cheque will be cashed and I will foward you one of my cheques minus the damages cost.

Clients who arrive in Gandia after 10.00pm who wish to be meet and taken to the villa will be charged 30e locally. Before this time is included.
