Our guest accommodation is situated privately, away from the main house, so you will have plenty of privacy during your stay. Living room / kitchenette - the living room has a large comfy settee for those all important siestas (which is also a bed settee), a TV (with UK Television), DVD player and video recorder. The kitchen facilities include fridge/freezer, microwave oven, 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a dining table. The outside kitchen provides a washing machine (tumble dryer also available) and a second fridge/freezer. Fully tiled bathroom with walk in shower, sink and toilet. Outside the apartment, you have your own, private terrace, with table, chairs & parasol beside the pool. There are more tables, chairs and loungers dotted around Casa Martinique, perfect for that hour of solitude, whether it's under the thatched gazebo reading that favourite book, dozing in the sun, getting a good tan or generally giving yourself the R&R you deserve.

Notes on prices
Accommodation is 45 euros per night for up to 2 persons, please add an extra 10 euro per night per extra person. Prices will vary during F1 at Valencia and America's cup.
Changeover day
Booking in from 15.30 onwards and we ask you to check out by 10.30 on your last day.

Notes on accommodation
A Welcome Pack awaits you on arrival, with all you need to get started.
This includes bread, butter, cheese, ham, jam, marmalade, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water and orange juice. Oh, and. of course, and bottle of wine!

Outside
The Swimming Pool is tiled and filtered, and measures 8 x 4m, with an outdoor shower and is just beside the apartment.
The pool has a safety fence surrounding it, which is ideal if you're bringing children.
The gardens and fruit trees are expansive, and make Casa Martinique tranquil and secluded, just what you need for that perfect break.
Coast/Beach
From Castellon down through Valencia and south to Benidorm, there are over 35 beaches from tranquil and peaceful to busy, busy, busy! Some of these include Sagunto, Pinedo, La Devesa, Cullera, San Antonio which are all within 1 hours drive of Casa Martinique. 2 notable beaches to visit are Malvarossa, which is in Valencia.
For sailing, there are a multitude of Yacht Clubs along the coast, and of course, with the America's Cup just around the corner, things are getting to fever pitch.
Golf
With over 20 excellent golf courses and a magnificent, sunny climate allowing play 365 days a year, the land of Valencia is an authentic paradise for lovers of this passion driven sport.

Travel
We are 20 mins from the airport a car is essential.
Distances
Depending on what you want from your holiday, there are still so many more things to do.
If you enjoy nature, the Sierra Calderona Mountain Range is spectacular, with great hiking paths, along with lakes, waterfalls and tiny villages nestled between peaks.
Lake Albufera is just to the south of Valencia, and is still used today for growing rice for paella, as well as providing 4 distinct natural habitats for wildlife. Boat rides are available.

Dos Aguas - A small village in the mountains, well worth a visit for the fantastic scenery and the amazing drive to get there. Situated about 18km from Real de Montroy on the CV-435.
Bunol - World famous for it's rather bizarre, but incredibly good tomato throwing festival (La Tomatina), held every year at the end of August, Bunol is a lovely town worth a visit at any time of the year. Situated about 18km from Monserrat on the CV-425.
Cheste & Chiva - Large local towns, with plenty to do and see.
Cheste aso boasts the Valencia Racing Circuit, where you can see the Moto GP, and during December and February, Formula 1 testing.
Further afield you'll find Lliria (the main provincial town of the Turia Region), Chulilla (mountain town with nearby waterfalls), El Perello (coastal village with great seafood restaurants and a nice beach) and many, many more!
Just grab a map, a packed lunch and go explore!
Monserrat - When exploring our local town, here's a couple of great cafe bars to indulge in some local tapas and cervezas!
Cafe Bar Chaparral - Cheap and cheerful! You will find a good menu in English and Spanish with a meal from as little as €3! Or, why not try the Friday night must of fish, chips and mushy peas(or beans!) with a drink for €6.
Cerveseria Casa Gran - A wide variety of international beers (including John Smith's Extra Smooth!).
They also do exquisite tapas including mouth watering prawns in garlic. Perfect!

A deposit of 20% of the booking fee will be required on booking (none returnable if cancelled later), the remainder must be paid in full 2 weeks before you arrive, payment can be euro cheque or direct UK bank transfer (preferred) details on where to pay on booking.
