The apartment is within a private complex on the main coast road. Malaga airport is 50 minutes away and Gibraltar 35 minutes. It is a 2 bedroom one bathroom, 3rd(top) floor apartment with lounge/diner with double sofa bed, fully fitted kitchen and balcony. Main bedroom and lounge/diner directly over looking the beach and sea. Kitchen and second bedroom overlooking the communal pool and gardens. Underground car parking. No lift.

Changeover day
The changeover day is flexible. Arrival and departure times can be agreed. We have agents close to the apartment who will be happy to assist you if there is anything that you require during your stay. Including receiving and sending of e-mails and faxes.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with 6 foot double bed and built in wardrobes. Overlooks sea.
Bedroom 2 with two single beds which can be pushed together if an extra double bed is required, built in wardrobes. Overlooks pool and gardens. Both with marble floors.
Bathrooms: Fully tiled bathroom. Full size bath/with shower over. WC, bidet, sink and vanity unit. We have a high chair, child's toilet seat and stp plus a travel cot, high chair and changing mat for guests with young children and babies.
Kitchen: Oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster, tumble dryer.
Living Rooms: Double sofa bed, cream leather sofa, TV, DVD and video player, radio, cabinet with large collection of books, board games, videos and DVD's. Dining table with 6 chairs. Also high chair and travel cot plus steam sterilizer.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels, separate beach towels and linen are included. For a two week stay the linen will be changed at the end of the week and the apartment cleaned. If desired, cleaning and laundry can be arranged as frequently as is wished, at an additional charge.

Notes on accommodation
Fully air-conditioned and heating system. Marble floors throughout and decorated throughout in light colours. All windows are fitted with locks which means that the windows can be left open for a safe amount but not so as a child could get through the gap. We have a high chair, travel cot (you should bring your own bedding) changing mat, microwave sterilising system, baby gate and potty for infants and small children. If you require any other equipment this can usually be arranged locally.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the third/top floor and would not be suitable for visitors who have difficulty with stairs as there is no lift.

Outside
Intercom for main gates and beach gates, secure complex. Main pool with seperate children's pool. There are ample sunloungers, pool side bar and restuarant. The beach has showers and sunshades can be hired for a daily rate along with sun beds or you can take down these items from the apartment, whichever you prefer. On the beach side of the apartment is a large grassed area with sunbeds and additional shower facilites. A few metres along the beach is a friendly beach bar. The lovely communal gardens are mature and well maintained. There is ample outside parking or if you prefer an under ground car park which exits immediately below block XIII which is ideal when you are struggling with heavy luggage or shopping and also ensures that you car is kept cool in the summer heat.

Coast/Beach
The apartment literally overlooks the mostly sandy beach which is usually swept on a daily basis. It is possible to walk for miles either way along the beach.

Golf
The apartment is only a short drive from many prestigious golf courses.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada mountains about 2 hours by car.

Travel
Malaga airport is 50 minutes drive away, Gibralter airport 35 minutes and Granada 2 hours drive. A car is essential unless you wish to make use of the bus service or local taxis. Carrefour the superstore does do delivery of shopping if you prefer not to hire a vehicle for the durantion of your holiday.

Distances
The apartment is within 1km of the superb Selwo wildlife park set in the mountains. The historic towns of Malaga and Rhonda are about 40 - 55 minutes away, Tivoli World theme park and Selwo marina are 40 minutes, Puerto Banus 15 minutes away, Marbella 20 minutes away, Estepona 10 minutes, Gibralter 30 minutes away. The lovely town of San Pedro de Alcantara is less than 10 minutes away. The Sierra Nevada mountains are close by.

Further details
There is a large Carrefour superstore 10 minutes away in Estepona and a huge range of shops, banks, bars, restaurants, cafes all within close proximity to the complex. Fantasic shopping facilites are available in Marbella and a large retail park called La Canada with a wide selection of quality food outlets, stores and malls are close to the town of Marbella.

On-site there is a pool bar and restaurant next door is a very good Indian restaurant both of which will do take away services. Opposite is a typically Spanish restaurant and a short walk away is a lovely reastauant called the Playa Bella.

About the owner
We are Andrew and Karen and have owed the apartment for about 8 years and have spent a great deal of time there at all times of the year. The attraction is the wonderful sea view and easy accessiblity to surrounding areas. We take most of our holidays there and let it out when we aren't able to be there.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The biggestest atrraction is the sea, the sea views and the immediate proximity of the beach which is never crowded and often deserted in off peak months. Estepona is a lovely town with fantasi beaches and shopping within a few minutes drive of the apartment. We are able to reach the mountains and lovely hillside villages after just a short drive. There is a fantasic Wildlife Park literally 1km from the apartment.
