The property fronts the river with the original mill building still containing the four milling stones and machinery. The Mill is a paradise for walkers, cyclists, horse riders (riding stables near by) and wildlife enthusiasts. An ideal retreat or quiet family holiday - with access to the river parents must bear this in mind when taking children.
The river is wonderful for swimming either in the pool in the front of the house, or in the old mill pool where the water is warmer and more still.
The river is home to trout, kingfishers, dippers and otters and wild boar run wild in the hills.
Coast/Beach
The coast is an hour and a half away, along good main roads and motorways.

Santiago international airport is 45 minutes drive away and there are cheap flights there with Ryanair from Stansted, Birmingham and Liverpool.

Ms J P "We had an amazing time. The mill is a wonderful haven of peace and it was so tempting not to budge from there. We did a couple of trips; Santiago one evening; Lugo for an afternoon and we went to the coast at Muros and Carnota which was beautiful. We have left our euologies in the visitors' book. The weather was unbelievably good. We had wall to wall sunshine and cloudless skies for five out of our six days! "
Ms E A. "Just a quick message to say that we had an absolutely fantastic holiday in your mill. The weather was glorious and we were pretty lazy (what we all needed). We were 2 families, so the accommodation worked fine. Lots of splashing about in the river, exploring along the valley, barbecues, pathetic attempts at fishing etc."
