New 3 bedroom detached single storey villa with private pool and rooftop solarium in the La Herrada area of Los Montesinos. The pool area has outdoor dining table and chairs, BBQ and plenty of sun loungers. It has a large porch, entrance hall, spacious lounge/dining area, separate kitchen, family bathroom, 3 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 double) with the master bedroom having an en-suite shower room. The villa is well furnished with air conditioning in the lounge and fans in the bedrooms. La Herrada can be found on the edge of the very Spanish village of Los Montesinos with its traditional village square, shops, bars and restaurants. Los Montesinos is close to the salt lake and the protected natural park. The villa is within easy walking distance of a large supermarket and only a short drive to the beaches of Guardamar and Torrevieja and near to La Finca golf course. Our villa is easily accessible from both Murcia and Alicante airports (both about 30-40 mins away).

Notes on accommodation
There is an air conditioning/ heating unit in lounge/dining room and ceiling fans in kitchen and bedrooms. There are also several portable electric fans and heaters. A hairdryer is in bedroom 1. There is 1 travel cot (bring own bedding) and a highchairs is available to hire on request.
Cleaning is paid in euros to keyholder on arrival and depends on the number of occupants this will be confirmed to you before booking.

Accessibility
Bungalow property so inside it is all on one level but there are steps to front door and to roof solarium.
Outside
The outside terrace is completely walled and fenced with a covered patio area with an outdoor table and 6 chairs. There are 6 sun loungers and a BBQ. The private swimming pool is 6x3m and has a depth between 0.90m and 1.60m. It has underwater lights and steps to access. There is a large tiled sunbathing area and rooftop solarium.
Car parking is available immediately outside the villa or there is secure parking on the gated driveway. There are shutters and security grills on all the windows and intercom access. The key holders live directly behind the property and are available to give any help or advice about the villa and surrounding area.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beach of Guardamar is about 12 mins drive and Torrevieja is only a little further away. Guardamar has a lovely promenade with pavement cafes and bars. Guardamar also offers sea sports such as sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. There is also a children’s playground on the beach itself. Aslo nearby there are several smaller, less busy beaches if you just want to get away from it all and relax.
Golf
There are several golf courses nearby. Details can be provided on request.

Large natural salt lakes nearby.
Travel
Murcia airport is about 35 mins drive and Alicante is about 45 mins drive. Car hire is recommended to allow you see all this area has to offer.
Distances
The Old Spanish town of Los Montesinos which has a weekly market (Friday), bars, shops, restaurants and the old town square is about 20 mins walk from the villa. The walk is all flat so no big hills to climb! The urbanisation of La Herrada is still being developed currently there is a large Super Valu supermarket 5 mins walk from the villa and a small commercial centre which includes a restaurant, cafe, bar, hairdressers etc. There are plans for further expansion during 2009/10.
Further details
Banks, taxi rank, garage, tobacconists, chemist, travel agent, bars, restaurants and a selection of shops are found in Los Montesinos.
A water park is in the nearby town of Quesada and several lovely beaches and the salt lakes are within a short drive.
The large resort of Torrrevieja is nearby with a huge Carrefour supermarket and the large shopping and leisure complex of Las Habanaras which has lots of shops, cinema, bowling, bars and restaurants
