Changeover day
We are flexible with changeover day where possible. The villa is available after 4pm on the day of arrival and we request that you vacate the villa by 10am on the day of your departure to allow for cleaning.

Notes on accommodation
There are electric heaters in all rooms. Cot and high chair can be provided at an additional cost. If aircon is required there is an additional charge of 50 euros per week.

Outside
There are extensive covered terrace and grass areas in the garden and a great private sunbathing terrace by the pool. The swimming pool is approx. 8 x 4 metres with fresh water. Private garage.
Coast/Beach
There are many beaches nearby including naturist beaches, but 'San Cristobal' beach is only a few minutes stroll from the house. This beach is a long, wide, pebbly beach safe for swimming with parasols for shade and sunbed hire. There are also pedalos, jet ski's and windsurf boards for hire.
Golf
There are several golf courses within 15 minutes drive.
Skiing
The 'Sierra Nevada' ski resort is just over an hours drive. Facilities and slope management are truly first class, 1996 saw the World Championships staged at Sierra Nevada. With 40 miles of ski runs and two cross country circuits the resort is serviced by 2 cabin lifts, 12 chair lifts and 5 T-bars.
Special interest holidays
Almuncar has endless facilities for people interested in activity holidays, there are diving schools, paragliding schools, walking and hiking clubs, horse riding, sailing, windsurfing, the list is endless, it just depends on your energy!
Travel
Almunecar is only an hours drive from two international airports, Malaga and Granada. The local bus service which runs into Almunecar regularly each day stops outside the villa.
Distances
There are bars, restaurants and supermarkets within 5 winutes walk of the villa and it is only ten minutes walk into the centre of Almunecar where you can find lots of shops, restaurants, banks and supermarkets. Historic Salobrena and La Herradura are only 10 minutes drive away and the busy town of Nerja with its spectacular 'Balcon' is 20 minutes drive. It is a must to visit the famous 'Alhambra' palace in Granada and the popular ski resort of 'Sierra Nevada' is just over an hours drive.
Further details
There is a local market every Friday morning and a municipal market every day with a fabulous selection of fish, meat and local grown fruit and vegetables. Almunecar has a lovely pedestrian 'Old Town' with lots of quaint narrow streets filled with interesting shops and restaurants.

To reserve a booking we require a payment of 30% of the cost of your holiday. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before your arrival. We also require a 300 euro refundable security deposit on arrival.
