The inviting swimming pool sits to the side of the villa surrounded by a large terrace, fringed by colourful plants and trees, where there is ample space for sunbathing on the loungers provided, and a BBQ area with stone table and chairs to enjoy eating alfresco. This and the adjacent villa provides excellent holiday accommodation for 2 groups or families travelling together yet wanting to retain a degree of independence. Notes on accommodation
A complimentary welcome pack which includes basic provisions and a bottle of wine will be provided on arrival. Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Please use the patio where ashtrays are provided. An information book is available for use during your stay. Services of an English/Spanish speaking agent are available.
Outside
Guests will enjoy the use of a large secluded garden, with an extensive terrace, fringed by colourful plants and trees. There is ample space for sun loungers around the private 8m x 4m swimming pool which has under water lighting. The BBQ and 2 seating areas - one under a shady pergola, are ideal for dining alfresco. The front porch also provides a welcome respite from the hot summer sun. The double gated entrance to the drive is large enough for 2 vehicles.
Coast/Beach
A short drive away is the beautiful blue flag beach of La Barrosa where you can soak up the sun and also enjoy a meal or drink along the promenade. Nearby is the picturesque white washed village of Conil with it's soft white sands shelving gently into the cool blue ocean, and the wonderfully wide beach of Sancti Petri which stretches round to the small harbour. These beaches are within a 15-20 min drive but are only a few of many which can be found along this coastline.
Golf
There are a number of good quality golf courses in this area, including a 36 hole course designed by Seve Ballesteros.
Travel
Airports - Jerez de la Frontera, 40 mins. Seville, 1.5hrs. Gibraltar, 1.5hrs. Malaga, 2.5hrs. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Main town of Chiclana is 10 mins away. Cadiz 20 mins. Water park at Puerto de Santa Maria 30 mins. Tarifa 45 mins. Seville 1.5hrs. Gibraltar 1.5hrs. Marbella/Puerto Banus 2hrs via motorway.
Further details
Cadiz is steeped in history and is one of the oldest cities in Europe. It stands on a peninsular jutting out into a bay and is almost entirely surrounded by water. The old quarter of Cadiz is famous for it's picturesque charm and is well worth a visit.
Jerez is world famous for its Sherry. You may like to take a tour of one of the many bodegas (wine cellars) to sample the local tipple!
Conil de la Frontera is a typical Andalucian town. Many tapas bars can be found in the narrow cobbled streets, and there is an open air market on a Friday.
The roman town of Medina Sidonia is set on a hilltop with panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking. A security deposit of £150 is payable with the outstanding balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure providing no breakages/damages have occurred.
