Set in a quiet and unspoilt area of Andalucia, the villa offers magnificent uninterrupted views of the spectacular 'Lake Vinuela'. The villa is just 40 minutes from Malaga international airport and offers a number of excellent amenities. The nearest beach is 15 minutes away at Torre Del Mar, with other beaches and the picturesque Nerja less than a 30 minute drive. The villa is suitable for both families and groups of friends, offering everything you could need for a tranquil and enjoyable stay in this well kept secret area of Southern Spain.

Bedrooms: Spectacular master bedroom with king size bed. Patio doors lead onto a terrace with breathtaking views of the lake.
1 twin bedroom on the first floor.
2 twin bedrooms on the ground floor.
Travel cot available plus 'put up' bed.
Bathrooms: 2 family size bathrooms each with two sinks, bath, shower and wc.
Kitchen: Open plan fully fitted kitchen including cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, grill, microwave, oven, washing machine and all utensils. The kitchen offers excellent views of the private pool and lake and has a door leading to the outside terrace.
Living Rooms: Furnished to a very high standard the villa offers spacious accommodation spread over two floors. On the ground floor, set off the main entrance hall, there's a bright and airy lounge with large flat screen TV, patio doors open onto onto a large terrace.
Other: At the far end of the lounge is the dining area, so the villa offers both inside and outside dining areas.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels are provided. You will need to bring your own supply of beach towels. Cot linen is not provided.

 

Notes on accommodation
Mosquito and blackout blinds are provided in all bedrooms. It is advisable to hire a car with a high wheel base for the short track to the villa as it can sometimes get quite dusty/slippery in the hot weather. So cars like a Citreon Berlingo/Kangoo, Opel Zafira, Ford Galaxy, Renault Scenic, Renault Espace, 4x4 or people carrier. We suggest you book your car as soon as you reserve the villa as rental prices in Spain can be very expensive if you leave it until just before you travel - they seem to be much more reasonable if you book well in advance and most companies only take a deposit. We can recommend car hire companies we use. Please note this is a non smoking villa.

Outside the property there is a good size private pool (8m x 4m) with a secluded covered terrace area, balcony, garden, barbecue, parking for 4 cars, table and chairs, sun beds and outside shower.

Coast/Beach
The closest beach is a 15 minute drive at Torre Del Mar, with other beaches including the picturesque Nerja less than a 30 minute drive.

Golf
There are two golf courses nearby. Further details can be provided.

Skiing
Granada, Alhambra and Sierra Nevada skiing are approximately 90 minutes by car.

Special interest holidays
Other interests include cycling, swimming (pool and sea), fishing, horse riding, mountain hiking, sailing, wind surfing and water park.

Travel
Malaga International Airport is a 40 minute drive from the villa. We have simple directions from the airport to the villa.

Distances
Surrounding Lake Vinuela there are towns and white villages 'pueblos blancos, such as Vinuela, Alcaucin, Periana and Los Romanos. Velez Malaga is approx 10 minutes away and has a superb shopping mall including a hypermarket. Ronda is approx 1 hour by car. We have a numer of slide shows available of the most popular and picturesque attractions in the area.

Further details
There are a number of excellent restaurants within a few miles of the villa, the closest of which are less than a couple of minutes drive. The property has recently undergone redecoration and some areas of refurbishment.

Final balance 10 weeks before departure.
