Casa Lagarto is situated in Mogarizas, a residential suburb of Chiclana. This area is unspoilt by mass tourism so this is real Spain. A smattering of Spanish and a good phrasebook are essential. The unspoilt beaches and nearby whitewashed hilltop towns (Vejer and Medina Sidonia) are its main attractions. The Parque Natural salt marshes and bird sanctuary, where flamingos and storks can be seen, is within walking distance. The air conditioned villa is modern, light and airy with 3 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 6. It has a fully equipped fitted kitchen, washing machine, satellite TV, DVD, CD. Outside is a traditional charcoal barbecue and ample furnishing for outdoor living.

Changeover day
Access 3pm on day of arrival and vacate 10am on day of departure during the summer months. Where possible, we will try to be flexible.

Upstairs front balcony with seating and view. Private parking. Small balcony off one back bedroom.

2 km to nearest beach (3 -4 minute drive). Long stretches of unspoilt golden sandy beach. Child friendly gently shelving. Beach bars, showers in season. Water sport hire. Horse riding on beach or through woods. Wind surfing and Surfing near. Go Karting a short drive away.

Further details
Local supermarkets, bakery, newsagent, bicycle hire (two minutes walk away) bars and take away within walking distance. Chiclana market Tuesday. Covered market (fish, meat and veg) six days a week. Of interest to families with the area being typically Spanish, meal times are traditionally much later than in the UK. As such, rarely can one dine much before 9pm. Our children adjust body clocks by sleeping in! All the restaurants are very family friendly and for seafood lovers are paradise.

Well equipped and spacious villa, some days we found it hard to leave the garden and pool!
Great holiday - fantastic prawns on the BBQ.
One of the best villas we have stayed in - we used the built in BBQ every day using fresh fish from the local supermarket!
Stayed three years ago and returned again this year, even better than we remembered it,hired bikes this time from nice man up the road for a very reasonable price!
