Casa Nispero is the perfect base whether you want to relax in the Andalucian sunshine, explore the nearby cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada, or enjoy the many outdoor activities available in the area. Having been beautifully restored so that you can enjoy all the comforts of modern living the property still oozes with Andalucian feel and charm. Original features date back a hundred years, including wooden shutters, hand painted tiles and wooden beams throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, fridge freezer, ceramic hob and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine etc. At the back of the house is a courtyard with a private pool surrounded by plants and trees bearing lemons and nisperos. Also in the courtyard is a traditional outdoor fireplace which serves as a barbeque, where you can cook and eat.

Out of season we also offer weekend/ midweek breaks, minimum of 3 days. Reduced prices are also available for long term rentals.
Changeover day
Our bookings are from 4pm Saturday to 11am the following Saturday. However, wherever possible we will be flexible on these changeover dates, so please enquire if this is required.

All linen and towels are provided courtesy of the owner. The house is cleaned at the end of each rental period. |

Golf
An 18-hole course is located at Antequera just 30 minutes drive. Set amidst the mountains with some great views of the area. It is challenging with narrow tree lined fairways and beautiful water hazards and waterfalls. There is a further club at Granada, 50 minutes drive, with the spectacular backdrop of the Sierra Nevada. Non-members are welcome on weekdays. These two courses are considerably less expensive to play than the Costa resort courses.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada resort is only 60 minutes drive away and hosted one of the 1996 world ski championships events. Although small in comparison with other European resorts it has sufficient runs to satisfy all standards of skier and boarder, whilst maintaining a friendliness that many of its European counterparts have lost.
Special interest holidays
The local horse-riding stable at Salinas offer facilities for all ages and abilities. Everything from lessons with a BHS qualified instructor to hourly hacks and one day, two day or five day accompanied trail riding.
The area is a bird-watching paradise and there are locally organised bird-watching and walking tours where you can hope to catch sight of up to 40 different species. Also nearby is are several natural parks, like Fuente de Piedra which is home to many birds as well as being one of the largest breeding areas for flamingos.
Travel
Casa Nispero is close to both Granada airport (40 minutes) and Malaga airport (55 minutes). Casa Nispero's rural setting means that a car is essential in order to enjoy your stay. Both airports have many reputable car hire firms.
Distances
Casa Nispero is within easy reach of the cultural centres of Granada (40 minutes drive), Seville (120 minutes drive) and Cordoba (90 minutes drive). Plus the beaches of the Costa del Sol (40 minutes drive) and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada (60 minutes drive). Car Hire is essential is to enjoy your stay.
Booking notes
All the prices shown are in UK Pounds and are fully inclusive for self-catering accommodation. A deposit of £200 is required on booking, with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. Prices also include heating in the winter months. All towels and linen are included in the price. A starter hamper of Andalucian goodies is also included in the price.
