The apartment is in close proximity of local residents, shops and bars located at the buzzing Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre. At Playa Flamenca, there is a large Saturday market which is a 5-minute walk away attracting a vast variety of vendors. At the far end of the market there is the popular Celtic Island, great for children with entertainment, restaurant, bars and a large swimming pool. Beaches such as Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima and La Zenia, with several local to the vicinity, have each been awarded the European Union's Blue Flag for beaches which must be kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The Spanish fishing town of Torrivieja is a 10-minute drive away, with a lovely Marina and waterfront market. Torrevieja also has a large water park which is open during peak times. Golf is a must on the Orihuela Costa, courses such as Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are but a few of the excellent courses just a few minutes drive from the Laguna golf resort.

Notes on accommodation
The spacious gardens spread out across the breadth and depth of Lagunagolf. In the middle of the great lawn in the centre of the urbanisation is an extensive swimming pool. Also included in the complex is a leisure area comprising tennis courts, dry football pitch and basketball nets. For the children there is a newly built play area. Adults can relax during the hot evenings in the square housing water fountains.
Accessibility
The apartment is constructed for wheelchair users. There are wide doors and a lift to all floors.
Outside
There is a large balcony with table and 4 reclining chairs and sun lounger. The main bedroom and living room opens out on to the balcony.
Coast/Beach
One of the most outstanding features of Orihuela Costa is its 16km of beaches eternally bathed in sunshine. Year after year, these shores are awarded with the European Union's Blue Flag for the beaches that keep a high standard in cleanliness.
Mill Palmeras, Cala de Campoamor and Caleta de la Glea in Campoarmor; Aguamarina, la Caleta and Cala Capitan in Cabo Roig; Cala del Bosque and Cala Cerrada coves in Playa Flamenca; La Mosca and Punta Prima are some of the best quality beaches around.
Golf
If golf is your passion, in Orihuela Costa you will be in the perfect place to dedicate yourself to days of relaxation and improving your handicap. Our privileged microclimate will allow you to practice golf all the year round, as it is host to three well known 18-hole golf courses, Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.
Lagunagolf is only a few minutes drive from these three magnificent courses which will please all tastes, but with three things in common; breath-taking landscapes, excellent facilities and high quality services.
The Club de Golf Villamartin:
It is one of the most varied courses to be found in the area. The characteristics of each hole, the smooth contours of the ground, and the water obstacles make each round an interesting challenge, and suitable for whatever the level of the player.
The Real Club de Golf Campoamor:
It was built on the site of an old finca, in a natural beauty spot with views of the Mediterranean.
Travel
Alicante airport is a 40 minute drive away. However Murcia (San Javier) airport can be reached in 15 minutes. Airport collection and return can be arranged. Although car hire is not essential, a few days car hire would enable you to travel to the Spanish fishing town of Torrevieja which is a 10-minute drive away, with a lovely Marina and waterfront market. Torrevieja also has a large water park which is open during peak times.
Distances
Torrevieja is within a 15 minute drive and is surrounded by salt lakes which are home to a variety of wildlife including pink flamingos which are protected within the La Mata nature reserve. The town has a large marina, fun fair, promenande which is bustling from early evening with street artists and stalls, a harbour walk and abundant bars, shops and restaurants. Going north Alicante is worth a look as are the many beaches and bays all along the Costa Blanca.
Further details
Within walking distance there are several restaurants, bars and supermarkets. There is also a weekly market which is only around the corner, where you can purchase fresh fruit and veg, clothes, leather goods etc.
Booking notes
Booking: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required at the time of booking to secure. The balance will be due 8-weeks prior to departure as will the £100 key/damage deposit. The deposit is refundable on the return of the keys and is subject to inspection for any damage/loss by our Agents. For departures under 8-weeks, the balance will need to be paid in full. Bookings which span over 2 consecutive weeks will be given a 10% discount. Long winter lets may be considered.
