This modern apartment is on the ground floor of a private villa and enjoys a unique location in the beautiful Jalon Valley being set amongst orange groves in a country lane yet just a few minutes walk from the restaurants, bars and village shops of Alcalalí and 30 minutes drive to the coast and sandy beaches. The apartment has wonderful views over the orange and almond groves across the Jalon Valley to the Marina Alta mountains. For those wanting more than relaxing by the pool or going to the beach there are excellent facilities for hill walking, golf, horse riding etc. The apartment is furnished to a high standard.

Changeover day
Bookings can commence on any day of the week subject to availability. The property is available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is on the ground floor and has french doors opening onto its own private patio leading to the terraces and pool which are shared with the owners.
Outside
The patio and terraces allow relaxation in full sun or shade providing various spots for outside dining. An awning provides additional shade when required. There is an L-shaped pool (7 x 5 metres max) with sunbathing terraces and outside shower.
Coast/Beach
The resorts and extensive beaches of Calpe, Javea, Denia and Moraira are about 30 minutes drive away.
Golf
The apartment is ideally placed for golf with around 12 courses within about an hour. These include three championship courses Oliva Nova, La Sella and El Saler.
Travel
Alicante and Valencia airports are each 1 hour 15 minutes drive away. A car is essential to enjoy the area to the full.
Distances
10 minutes walk to the village of Alcalalì.
Further details
The small village of Alcalalí is 10 minutes walk away with 5 bars, small supermarkets together with butchers, bakers, pharmacy etc. A number of reasonably priced restaurants are also within easy reach, three inside 10 minutes walk. The apartment is located on the edge of the Marina Alta mountains. There are excellent drives through these mountains and valleys with many small villages, restaurants and bars. Out of season there are also many excellent walks and in spring the wild flowers and blossoms are a delight.
The theme/water parks of Terra Mitica, Natura Park, Aqualandia and Mundomar are located near Benidorm about 40 minutes drive away. The Vergel Safari Park is 30 minutes drive away.
Walking and Climbing: The Marina Alta mountains are one of the Mediterranean's best kept walking secrets. Walks range from pretty valley strolls (some from the front door of the apartment) to 4,500 foot rugged mountain rock scrambles and spectacular ridge walks. Please ask for further information on walking including guidebooks, guided walks, walking groups etc.. The area is very popular also for cyclists, both road and mountain. Horse riding pony trekking and climbing are available locally.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is required to secure a reservation. Cleaning of the accommodation after departure is included in the charge as is an interim clean and change of linen each week.
