The property stands in the midst of its private olive, almond and carob groves in the Montes de Malaga. Despite being a distinctly rural location the estate is only 15 minutes from Malaga international airport and the shops of the city centre.

The property is cleaned prior to arrival and then each midweek. Linen is changed weekly. Bathroom towels are provided but clients should bring their own beach towels. |
Notes on accommodation
In winter the property is heated by gas heaters and electric radiators. There is an open fireplace in the kitchen and wood burnings stoves in the sitting room and patio.
Accessibility
A car is necessary. The house is reached by a 700 metre unmade drive off a country road.
Outside
The main house is surrounded by terraces, shaded with pergolas and with outdoor furniture - ideal for al fresco dining. There is also a built barbecue between the kitchen door and the side pergola.
There is also a shaded terrace in front of the pool cottage. This cottage is fully equipped with hob, fridge, shower and wc.
The large pool (8m x 10m)is up a flight of steps behind the house where young children would need to be under supervision.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are about 20 minutes drive from the property.
Golf
The nearest golf course is about 20 minutes away. Within half an hour´s drive there are approximately 4 courses.
Travel
Car essential. Malaga airport about 15 minutes´ drive.
Distances
Malaga centre 15 minutes by car, Antequera 45 minutes.
Granada 90 minutes drive, Cordoba and Seville about 2 hours each.
Further details
There are 7 "ventas" (roadside bar/restaurants) within about a mile of the finca entrance. These serve good, simple and cheap meals in the local style and, depending on the time of year, are open from late morning till late evening.
There is a tiny village shop a few hundred metres from the finca entrance. This sells basic household necessities, groceries, alcohol and fresh village produce such as eggs and honey.

Payment terms: one third on booking. Balance, plus 400 Euros security deposit eight weeks before arrival.
