Great nearby places to visit: CADIZ - the oldest still inhabited city in Europe. From here the Conquistadors overwhelmed much of Latin America and looted gold enriched the town. JEREZ - home of the famous Royal School of Equestrian Art and the centre of the world's sherry production. It is also known for motor sports (Moto GP and Formula One). TARIFA - Moorish walled town, looking like mini Marrakech, hosts world windsurfing championships. From here boats take you to Morocco or whale and dolphin spotting in the Straits of Gibraltar. EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA - Columbus set sail for the Americas in a vessel named after the town. LA DONANA - largest wildlife reserve in Spain (50,000 hectares). 300,000 birds representing 120 species as well as lynx, wild boar and otters.
