The Alamar II group of villas are situated at Burriana Beach and No. 4 is a spacious Spanish style villa. Burriana Beach, the main beach in Nerja is sandy with safe swimming and rocks at either end which are good for snorkeling. There are a variety of watersports, windsurfing, pedaloes, etc. and a PADI diving centre. The colourful local fishing boats add a lot of interest, and there are a number of bars and restaurants along its promenade. The Balcon de Europa, the centre of Nerja, is only a 10 minute walk from the villa.

Ceiling fans fitted in all rooms. Off-season heating - electric heaters in all rooms and an open fireplace in living room for log fires.

Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users, there are no bedrooms or bathrooms (only WC & washbasin) on the ground floor.

Outside
Large terrace overlooking beach with table and chairs, built-in barbecue, sunloungers and sun umbrellas. Smaller table and chairs on east side next to the garden and pool. Shared garden and pool, pool approx. 10x7m and 140-240cm in depth.

Coast/Beach
100m from beach, a 2 minute walk along our service road and across the promenade. The terrace and several windows overlook the beach.

Golf
2 x 18 hole golf courses 15 minutes drive.

Skiing
Skiing in Sierra Nevada is 1hr 45 mins drive.

Travel
Malaga Airport is 45 mins. drive. Car hire is not essential as all amenities are walkable but can be arranged with local firm.
Our local agent will arrange minibus transport from Malaga Airport if required.

Distances
10 mins. walk to centre of Nerja. 3km to the Nerja Caves
6 kms to Frigiliana, a typical Spanish hill village. 48km to Malaga. 100km (approx) to Grenada and the Alhambra.

Further details
Good selection of restaurants, bars and shops along the promenade below the villa, and an excellent selection in Nerja.
Good walking in hills and adjacent National Park, horse-riding and trecking, cycling, scuba diving.

Booking notes
Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. Deposit of 25% confirms a booking, the final payment being due 1 calender month before the rental period.

It was a beautiful villa in an excellent location. We had a wonderful week and will certainly keep it in mind for our next family get together. Beautiful. Excellently situated and perfect for a family holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the villa clean, well equipped, spacious and very convenient. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. This was the perfect place to stay, very close to the beach for us to push the little one and the 4 older parents found it very convenient. The group was very impressed with the accommodation and we will be looking to return again next year.

Viv and Anna run a bed and breakfast and wedding facility from their house in Hampshire, near to Chichester Harbour. Viv is a member of Rotary International and is involved in a number of business interests whilst Anna runs the B&B and plays a number of sports.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Viv and Anna Williams have owned the villa since 1999 when they bought it from the original owner having previously owned another house in the same complex and liking the location so much.
