This lovely spacious 2nd floor apartment is situated in the bay of Roses, in the urbanization Santa Margarita, 50m away from the golden sandy beach and an easy walk from the town centre of Roses. It comprises large living/dining room, fitted kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, shower room, utility and sun terrace. In addition to being next to the beach, bars, restaurants and all local amenities, you have go-carting, sky diving and the water park only a short distance away, Figueres and the famous Salvador Dali Museum is within 20 minutes and Girona airport, the French border and the beautiful costal town of Cadaques can all be reached in less than an hour.

Changeover day
Normally Saturday. However, we do understand that flights can vary a great deal in price from a weekend to weekday - so we are as flexible as possible.

Outside
The apartment looks out over the beach of Santa Margarida and has views up to the Pyranees.
Coast/Beach
The beach is virtually on your doorstep, here you can hire boats, jet ski, wind surf or relax on the sand or in one of the many beach side restaurants.
Golf
There are 3 excellent championship golf courses in the area. Perelada is only 30 mins by car. Torremirona, just to the west of Figueras can be reached in 40 mins and Pals, in about 1 hour.
Travel
Girona airport is 40 mins away by car and Perpignan airport 70 mins (both served by Ryanair) Le Havre to Roses is approx700 miles and can be driven to easily in 2 days. A car is not essential to have a fantastic holiday (everything is close or a free or 1 Euro bus ride away) but recommended if you wish to roam the wider historical area.

Further details
Santa Margarida has many of small shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants - and everything else for everyday needs including banks, pharmacy and doctors. There are several large supermarkets within a 5 mins drive and of course it is near to Roses town. Cap Creus is a great for walking and the Aiguamols natural park has a wide variety of wildlife. The Water Park (one of the largest in Europe) is 5 mins away.
Booking notes
Please email or phone to check availability and ask any questions you may have. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance being due 8 weeks before departure. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. A 'security deposit' of 50 pounds (or 75 euros) is required for every week or part week of the rental period when the balance is paid, this will be refunded when the keys are returned.
