The property is gated and secure, and there is ample outside lighting to allow BBQs, parties and so forth at all hours - as long as you invite the neighbours! There is a huge garage at ground level so you can keep the car. The enormous lounge/dining room is very comfortably equipped with 2 large 3 seater sofa beds and 2 arm chairs as well as a dining table and chairs for up to 8 people. With a 32' Wide-screen LCD TV, UK satellite TV and radio, DVD and CD players there is no need to miss the soaps. The kitchen has oven, hob, dishwasher, double sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer and utility area with washing machine. 2 sets of double doors open out onto a covered terrace leading to a large secluded patio, private pool and lawn area. There are 4 sun loungers as well as a large table and 8 chairs. At the rear of the property there is a separate BBQ area with stone table, seating and BBQ. With views of the Gavarres Hills and medieval church.

Notes on accommodation
Each bedroom has ample cupboard space and bed side tables. The master bedroom has double French doors opening onto a private balcony with table and 2 chairs - plenty of room for sunbathing too! Bedroom 2 has a large window with views over the Gavarres and the village of Calonge. Bedroom 3 has double French doors opening onto the patio and pool. In the lounge there are two very large double sofa beds. There is also a bed guard should younger children need to use the beds and a travel cot for babies and toddlers.

Accessibility
Due to the stairs up to the property it may not be suitable for wheelchair users. However, we have two very young children and found no difficulty with buggies and so forth.
Outside
The garden is on 3 levels consisting at ground level of a gravelled and planted area each side of the driveway. There are stairs leading up to the living area, terrace, patio and pool as well a secluded BBQ area at the rear of the property. Then there is another small set of stairs taking you up to a lawned area at the back of the garden. There is a garage at street level then stair going up to the living floor, terrace, patio and pool.
Coast/Beach
The local beach of Sant Antoni beach is less than 10 mins drive from the villa, also the vibrant old fishing port of Palamos and more sophisticated Platja D'Aro are located either side of Sant Antoni. We can recommend La Fosca which is just to the north of Palomos town and has two lovely beaches as well as several small, friendly restaurants.
Golf
Golf information golf in the Costa Brava holiday. The Costa Brava boasts 9 excellent golf courses with some of the best in Europe. You can play from March to November. All are within the region. Costa Brava The club is surrounded by pines and cork oaks, with flat terrain and wide fairways. Mas Nou (D'Aro) Voted top 3 in Europe This course has literally been built by slicing off the very top of a mountain Peralada Open course on flattish terrain. Design is resort-style and small olive trees line most of the fairways 4. Torremirona In beautiful rolling countryside with panoramic views overlooking the Pyrenees, constructed as an ‘American resort style course’ with big greens Girona Sweeping valleys of forest pines and umbrella trees, with mostly elevated tee positions 6. PGA Golf De Catalunya A Championship layout Emporda - Among Europe's top 50 courses. American style with 3 contrasting loops of nine holes start with an outstanding links.
Travel
The nearest airport is Girona 35 mins away with Barcelona airport just over an hour to the south. We can recommend Ryan Air to Girona and Hertz for car rental - we fell that a car, although not essential, would greatly enhance your stay.
Distances
The nearest supermarket is Valvi about 800m towards Calonge and the nearest restaurant - Jovita - is about 400m in the same direction in case you get thirsty or hungry on the way to or back from the supermarket. There are half a dozen or more restaurants within 1km of the villa and many more in the seaside towns less than 10 minutes drive away. In Calonge there are all sorts of amenities such as banks, bakers, florists, charcuterie, Internet cafe as well as the medieval castle and church. There
Booking notes
Payment can be made by Sterling cheque, Euro or Sterling money transfer. Price is for the villa per week and is based on a maximum occupancy of 10 people. There is a 20% non-refundable deposit required to secure bookings. The final balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure date. There is a refundable security deposit of £250 payable together with the balance. The deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure, less any damage and/or breakages.
