Notes on accommodation
The house is fully airconditioned and has underfloor heating throughout. Whilst the pool is not enclosed the house is extremely child friendly - cot, steriliser, toys, pool toys, books, films.
Accessibility
Whilst the property has 2 bedrooms downstairs it is not suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
The property stands on a 1900m square plot and as such enjoys a large garden with a lawn area to the rear as well as a natural wooded area. The property is completely enclosed and therefore safe for children. Aside from the 10x5m pool there is also a climbing frame, separate slide and 2 swings. The BBQ is charcoal and suitable for large parties. 8 lie down chairs together with outdoor table, 3 parasols, picnic rugs, freezer box, lilos, soft tennis, giant jenga, fins and masks are some of the items available to make life more comfortable.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach (5 mins by car) is Granadella - a beautiful unspoilt cove perfect to escape to. Arenal beach at Javea (5 mins by car) boasts a sandy beach with a wide promenade offering a wealth of restaurants and shops. 20 mins by car takes you to Moraira and its sandy beach with nearby rockpools. Just down the road from Moraira is El Portet - a beautifully sheltered spot perfect for little ones.
Travel
Javea is equidistant from Valencia and Alicante airport - both being approx 1 hour and 20 mins drive away. Slightly further afield is Murcia airport approx 2 hours by car.
Distances
Javea is the nearest town approx 5 mins drive away. Javea itself is split into 3 parts - Arenal beach, the Port and the Old Town. Whilst the beach is sandy and offers all amenities associated with a seaside holiday, the Port has a more rugged feel to it with interesting shops and the possibility of jet skiing as well as windsurfing. The Old Town has an excellent covered market aswell as a number of art galleries, tapas bars and a weekly market.
Further details
The nearest bank is 5 mins walk at La Guardia Park (where you will also find a DIY store and a bar!). 2 mins drive takes you to Elvi Supermarket open 7 days a week whilst larger supermarkets can be found in Javea & Moraira.
