This newly built country villa with pool and large sun terrace is set in its own grounds in the Costa Tropical, south of Granada. It offers complete relaxation and a sense of "getting away from it all". The house offers everything that you could need from a comfortably furnished inside to a feel of spaciousness outside. Large sun terrace with pool set down in the middle, bar and barbecue area, large garden area and a roof terrace that offers spectacular views over the Mediterranean and mountains. The villa offers a totally relaxing holiday not far from the sea (15 mins by car) and all amenities, as well as being a base for exploring a fascinating region of Andalucia.

Changeover day is preferably Saturday but out of season we are more flexible.

| Kitchen: | The kitchen is well equipped and spacious with built-in units including gas hob, built-in electric oven and microwave, a fridge/freezer, and a large dining table and seating for 10. |
| Utility Room: | There is a utility room off the kitchen for washing machine, hoover, iron and ironing board and storage space. |
| Living Rooms: | There is a large living area with 2 sofas, 2 rocking chairs and a large coffee table and a built-in fireplace, for those cold winter evenings. There is a TV, English satellite, DVD and music centre. The windows overlook the sun terrace and pool area. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included in the property, though you will have to bring your own beach towels. The house will be cleaned on arrival and departure and a change of bedding is available for change when necessary. |
Notes on accommodation
The house does provide freestanding fans for the bedrooms. There is also an intercom system for the gates with automatic opening from the house and key fobs. There is a shared drive with the other villa on the property but both houses are completely independent of each other, (See property ref S1284) bring the rest of the family and rent out both houses.

Outside
The outside of the property includes large sun terrace with private pool set down in the centre. The pool measures 11m x 5m and starts at the steps at one side going from a depth of 1m to 2.60m at the deep end. The pool has an outside shower and there is a cloakroom and toilet just off from the pool area so the kids are not traipsing through the house to use the amenities. There is a built in bar, with cooler fridges, and barbeque area just behind the pool. There is a large garden at the front of the house for the kids to run around in. Sunbeds and patio furniture are provided.
Coast/Beach
The villa is set in the Costa Tropical which means there are a variety of beaches stretching for miles in both directions, The closest beach is in Motril a 10-15 minute drive from the villa. This is a local spanish tourist area so in the summer it is packed with locals and tourists alike. There is a wide variety of water sports to choose from, water skiing, pedal boats, diving or just pick a quiet cove and relax and sunbathe.
Golf
Ther is an 18n hole golf course in Motril a 15 minute drive from the villa. This is set close to the beach and has just recently been opened, so in pristine condition.
Travel
The nearest airports are Granada, 1 hours drive, or the more popular airport Malaga, an hour and three quarters drive. A car is an essential for this property.
Distances
The house is set above the village of Puntalon where they have their own bar and restaurant. For everything else you may need you will find it in Motril (10 mins by car). There they have plenty of shops, supermarkets, boutiques, restaurants and bars. The villa is also an ideal place to do touring to visit the local sights. Only one hours drive from Granada with it's beautiful Alhambra palace; an hour from Nerja and it's caves; an hour to the Alpujarra mouintain villages.
Further details
Motril a 10 minute drive from the house offers everything you could want in the way of amenities. There are a number of supermarkets, boutiques, cafes, bars, restaurants, banks. Everything you could want is easily found in Motril.
