Mas Sans farmhouse, has belonged to the Sans family for more than 300 years. The house is all reformed and accommodated for receiving the guests, to be really comfortable. There are two completely independent apartments (Mas Sans 1 and 2), with two independent private well cared gardens. There is a parking area, and a very large garden where there are the boxes with the horses, and a zone with the private swimming pools only for guests of Mas Sans 1-2 and the owners. The house is in a very interesting region, near Barcelona, very near the beach of the fantastic Costa Dorada, very close to the mountains, and with many things and activities to do. In the village there is a small shop and at only 2km there are many shops, restaurants, tobacco shop, petrol station. The surrounding of the farmhouse is the small village, countryside vineyards, olive and almond trees, and the beautiful mountains with the Mediterranean aromatic forest, that is at only 5 minutes walking from the house.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property Mas Sans 1 or Mas Sans 2 per week (7 nights) and for 2 weeks (14 nights) you can see there are discounts. All the prices include the IVA, the tools, and the bed white clothes.
For long periods (3 weeks or more), there are special discounts up to 20%.
Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day but is flexible. Arrival is normally, after 5 pm, and departure by 11-12 am

Mas Sans 2 (4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8)

Mas Sans 2, has a capacity for 7-8 persons with two double bedrooms, a twin and a simple bedroom. Two complete bathrooms and a fantastic private garden with a comfortable barbeque and dining room. The garden has swings for kids, garden furniture and you can accede to the two fenced and well protected fantastic swimming pools, one small for kids and a big one 7 x 11 meters for adults. Both swimming pools are completely private for Mas Sans 1-2, and the owners, and in an area well fenced for security of the kids and tranquility of the parents, that we think is so important in holiday time. In the salon there is a marvellous terrace with nice views of the mountains, and the countryside to the sea coast. |

Notes on accommodation
Both houses are very well equipped, with all the things you need, and Marysia & Jordi, the owners, we use to live in another part of the house, and we can help you for anything you need. We can offer you some products of our ecologic vegetable garden and also of ecologic trees of the garden, for example olives, almonds, nuts, hazelnuts…
The house has central heating for winter time, but air-conditioning is not necessary because in summer we have nice breezes that keep the nights comfortable.
In another part of the house, there is a very big salon, about 90 meters squared with a nice chimney, a big kitchen and two toilets, that is able to be used by guests of Mas Sans 1 and/or Mas Sans 2, prepared for doing any kind of activities, as painting, cookery, meditation, yoga, private parties, celebrations...
Outside
As we said before there are two well cared independent gardens, one for each apartment with complete garden furniture, and only the parking and the pools are for both houses and the owners.
The boxes and the horses are also in another part of the garden, that all guests can visit with Marysia or Jordi.
Both houses have central heat, so it's open the whole year. Only the period December, January and February use to be closed for whole weeks.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful Costa Dorada (Gold Coast) is only 25 km away of Mas Sans, and boasts a mix of lively family beaches, small coves, tapas restaurants, water sports, marinas, the port of Tarragona and if you want seclusion then you can go down the cliffs in the forest to Waikiki beach or Roca Plana beach, where nudism is accepted.
Golf
There are 4 golf clubs and pitch and putts near Mas Sans, with daily weekly green fees. It's better to book in advance, and they speak English. The nearest to Mas Sans it's at only 20 minutes.
Skiing
Between 2-3 hours there are the best ski area of the Pyrenees mountains, and Andorra, the small country of the Pyrenees.
Special interest holidays
In another part of the house, there is a very big salon, about 90 meters squared with a nice chimney, a big kitchen and two toilets, that is able to be used by guests of Mas Sans 1 and/or Mas Sans 2, prepared for doing any kind of activities, as painting, cookery, meditation, yoga, private parties, celebrations...
For the moment the owners don't organise any kind of activities, but we offer the possibility of reserving this part of the house, that is specially interesting for big families or big group of friends that need to rent both apartments and a very big saloon and dining room.
Travel
Barcelona-Reus airport it's at only 25 km away, with very cheap airlines from UK, and other cities of Europe. Barcelona airport is at only 55 minutes, all by motorway ap2. The farmhouse is at only 3.5 km of the ap2 motorway (junction 10) and a car is needed to appreciate the area and enjoy all has to offer.

The village has 200 inhabitants and has typical Spanish village bar, cultural center, pharmacy and a small shop.
At only 2 km, you can find all kind of shops, banks, petrol station, in the village of Pla de Santa Maria, and at 10 km, Valls, a city with big supermarket centers, hospital, commercial streets...
Near Mas Sans (5-10 minutes driving), there are 3 fantastic restaurants, and lots of bodegas (about 20) with really good quality wines and good prices, because you buy them directly to the cooperative of the farmers.
The Priorat wine region, with the most famous actual wines, is not far away, about 1 hour.
Booking notes
A 50 % deposit will be taken at the time of booking bay a bank transfer to our bank account and the other 50 %, to be paid directly to the owners in the arrival, when we give you the keys of the house.
