La Casita is a typical whitewashed Spanish villa set in a very peaceful cul-de-sac location, within the prestigious hillside community of Monte de Los Almendros. The villa enoys all-day sun and an almost 180 degree view of picturesque Salobrena town, its 10th century Moorish castle - set against the deep blue Mediteranean Sea. The villa has its own private pool and is 2 minutes walk away from the communities leisure area with its 2 large swimming pools, tennis court, table-tennis and mini-football pitch. Nearby Salobrena is a typically lively small town with friendly taverna's, good shopping and extensive beaches. Don't miss a visit to the hillside Castle which dates back to the 10th Century Moorish occupation of Spain. Many other lesiure activities are available in the area including Golf, Horse-Riding, Hiking in the nearby hills and even skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains (time of year permitting).

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for up to 6 people.
Deposit 25% of rental on booking - remainder 3 weeks before arrival. Security deposit of £250 payable 3 weeks before arrival - refunded 7 days after your departure, subject to no substantial damage being done to the villa. Rentals in November - February incur a nominal charge for electricity of 0.10 euro per KW. Discounts available for rentals of 1 month or more - please ask.

Changeover day
Saturday is the changeover day with the villa available for occupation from 4pm onwards for arrivals. Departures from the villa are required by 12 midday.

Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds (sleeps 2).

Kitchen: Modern kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. All crockery, cutlery and utensils provided.
Utility Room: Washing machine.
Living Rooms: Lounge with two sofa's, Sky television with UK channels, DVD and VHS players and stereo music centre - leading out to informal dining terrace with extensive views. Separate dining room with table and seating for six people, again with wide sea views.
Other: An interesting and attractive feature of the property is the extensive terraced areas, which all have remarkable views of the Ocean, town and Castle. These terraces are very sunny and make the villa particularly attractive for you sun-worshippers!

linen/maid service:
Property and pool cleaned before your arrival, with towels and bed linen provided. Please supply your own beech towels.

Outside
The villa looks (and is) an authentic whitewashed Spanish property in a tropical garden setting. There are four main terraces, all facing South, extremely sunny and with extensive views of the Mediterranean Sea, Salobrena and the 10th Century Moorish Castle. The Castle is illuminated at night and with the village lights, ensures that even into late-evening the villa has interesting views. Terraced gardens surround the villa, with Lemon, Satsuma and Lime tree's and large tropical palm-tree's. Garden furniture, sun-loungers and barbeque on the upper terrace are provided. There is your own private pool plus you are 2-minutes walk to the extensive community leisure area, with 2 pools, tennis court, table-tennis and mini-football pitch. The villa is set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac so enjoys almost zero traffic and a very peaceful and private location.

Coast/Beach
La Casita looks down onto Salobrena beach. To get to the beach is a 5 minute drive. The beach itself is long and wide and enjoys excellent facilities.

Golf
Los Moriscos golf course is a nine hole course being currently extended to 18 hole. It has good practice facilities, large bar and excellent restaurant at the edge of the sea.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada is 45 minutes drive from the villa. The ski slopes have been extended to facilitate the world championships and are still being improved. It has good road connections and has easy access from Salobreña.

Travel
Malaga, Granada and Murcia airports all within easy drives.

Distances
Salobreña is a five minute drive from the villa and is our local village. Motril (10kms from the villa) is a large shopping town with local markets on a daily basis. Granada, 45 mins drive away, with it famous Alhambra Palace. Malaga, Marbella and Puerto Banus are 1.15 minutes to 2 hours away.

Further details
Granada, the capital of the province, and with it's famous "Alhambra" palace. A must to see.
The foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the "Alpujarras" with their typically white Spanish villages retaining their old world charm.
Skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains (winter months).

La Casita is available throughout the year. Non-refundable 25% payable with booking, with remaining 75% paid a minimum of 3 weeks before your arrival. Security deposit of £250.00 payable minimum of 3 weeks before your arrival, refunded 7 days after your departure subject to there being no substantial damage to the villa or its contents. Bookings can only be made direct with the owner Alan Jenkins.
