This is our brand new home in Palomares and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. The house is perfectly situated to take full advantage of the excellent beaches, Aqua Park, local towns and villages and for golf enthusiast’s access to a variety of excellent international golf courses within 30 minutes drive. Almeria airport is just 45 minutes drive. The development is small and enclosed with a large swimming pool and a children’s pool. The property is built on 3 levels with access to each level via an indoor marble staircase. It is light and airy and furnished to a high standard, with almost every home requirement at your disposal. The front patio overlooks the pools and gardens, the terrace from the master bedroom again overlooks the pools and gardens and a wonderful spacious roof terrace offers views of the sea and mountains. There is also a rear courtyard.

Bed linen, bath, hand and tea towels are provided, but not beach/pool towels. The duplex is cleaned before and after your stay. Cleans during your stay can be arranged. |
Notes on accommodation
This is a no smoking property. All rooms are fitted with metal security shutters, mosquito blinds and curtains.
Outside
The large swimming pool and children's pool are situated within a fenced safety area amidst landscaped gardens and palm trees. This small complex has security gates. Sun terrace(3rd floor), table, 4 chairs, 2 loungers, coffee table, sun umbrella and BBQ.
Coast/Beach
Beaches galore! The closest beach is 1km away, although there are endless sandy beaches located all along the coast. There is a beach for everyone's tastes (including a naturist beach, rated 1 of the 10 best in the world). There is also an Aqua Park (5 min drive).
Golf
The apartment is located within easy reach of a number of golf courses that suit all levels of golfer. Desert Springs (5 minute drive) 18 hole par 72. Built to full USGA specifications this course is designed to challenge the world’s best players. Valle de Este (10 min drive) 18 hole par 71 by Jose Canales is designed by integrating the course into the local landscape – the setting makes it a spectacular course to play. Marina Golf (20 mins) a relatively short course 5092m 18 hole par72. This course features 3 strategically situated lakes and sea views. Alboran Golf (40 mins) 18 hole par 72 designed by Ramon Espinosa for the 2005 Mediterranean Games. The long course 6278m with 66 bunkers make this a true test. Cortijo Grande 9 hole with plans to extend to 18 hole. A challenging course set amongst orange groves and hills.
Special interest holidays
Mountain biking: Cabo de Gata and Sierra Cabrera, the mountain range behind Mojacar, are a mountain biker's paradise with lots of single tracking and exhilarating challenges.
Travel
The closest airport is Almeria (45 mins), Murcia (San Javier) (60 mins), Alicante and Granada (2 hours). All 4 airports are on motorway routes and offer excellent links to many UK airports. Car hire is essential and readily available at all airports (car jet is very easy and reliable - on the web).
Distances
The apartment is situated within the village of Palomares, a typical Spanish village. The village of Villaricos with its pretty marinas is a walk away or less than 5 mins by car, as is the local Aqua Park. A further 5 mins will take you to the bustling fishing port of Garrucha and 5 mins further to the resort of Mojacar.
Further details
Everything you need is within walking distance in the village. There are also many more inland villages and towns to discover. Little Hollywood, the home of spaghetti westerns is 30 mins drive and the cities of Almeria (1 hour) and Granada (2 hours).
Booking notes
£100 deposit is required on booking the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. Payments can be made by UK cheque or transfer into Spanish bank account. Payment in full at time of booking if made less than 8 weeks before departure. £100 damage deposit is payable with final payment. This is refunded within one week of the holiday when our local management confirms no damage or breakages.
