Bonanza Square is a family entertainment complex with bars, snack bars and restaurants. There is a large shared pool for residents only with a lifeguard. It is 5 mins from Paloma park and 10 mins from the beach. The award winning harbour is a short distance away. Malaga airport is only 35 euros by taxi.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds and share the family bathroom.
1 single adult size fold up bed and a travel cot.
All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Both en-suite and family bathroom have bath with shower over the bath, WC, hand basin, hairdryer and bidet.
Kitchen: All the usual equipment including microwave, hob, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee perculator, electric grill. There is not an oven. A high chair or a baby buggy is available to hire from a local shop. Please ask
Utility Room: Washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Large through lounge with 3 seater and 2 seater sofas plus armchair, 6 seater dining room table. TV, DVD player and Sky freeview which will take your Skycard for most channels except movies and sports.
Other: Large balcony with table and chairs for 4 and 2 loungers.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen and towels, except beach towels, are provided and are changed every week. The property is cleaned after every occupant. The client is responsible for cleaning during their stay.

Notes on accommodation
The pool is behind locked gates and is for the exclusive use of the occupiers of the apartment block. As most of the occupiers are residents, it usually does not get crowded. There is a permanent lifeguard during the holiday season. There is now an identification system to ensure that only residents and their guests can use the pool.

The Apartment is close to the Church of England church.

Accessibility
As the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift, I regret that it is not suitable for the physically challenged.

Outside
Large shared pool. Sunbathing area with shades, but no loungers are provided.

Coast/Beach
The beach is 10 mins walk away. The award winning harbour is 20 mins walk along the promenade. Tivoli World is a small amusement park and there is a cable car to the top of the mountain overlooking the coast. Paloma park is 5 mins walk away and it has a small zoo and also a separate dolphinarium where you can swim with the dolphins.

Golf
Torrequebrada is the closest golf course, 15 mins by car, there are over 50 other golf courses within 1 hour's drive and I have played most of them.

Travel
Malaga airport is about 10km away, 20 mins by car or taxi. A car is not needed as all amenities are within easy walking distance. The local train to Fuengirola or Torremolinos is 10 mins walk. Pickup to and from the airport an be arranged.

Distances
The apartment is in the centre of the entertainment complex. All of the local bars do not stay open late so there are no all night bars or discos within hearing. However, there are plenty within either a short walk or taxi ride.

Further details
Benalmadena harbour is an award winning complex of bars restaurants and night clubs. By the harbour is 24 hour square where you can dance the night away.

About the owner
My wife and I were in our fifties when we brought the apartment. We brought it as a retirement home, when we finally get to retire and, as we are both still working, we let it out during the summer. It is principally our second home in a mainly residential block in a family oriented area. It is better furnished than your typical holiday let and there is usually tea, coffee etc in the cupboards and all we ask is that you replace what you use and respect our neighbours.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We love the area, there are so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, principally run by Brits, so no language problems. The local Spanish are friendly and love the kids. We don't use a car, the airport is close and a friend collects us. Everything you want is close by and we walk or get a taxi.
