A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking, balance due 6 weeks prior to occupancy. 400 euros security deposit required on arrival (or £ equivalent) - refundable after inspection. Changeover day
During high season changeover day is Friday.
Out of season this is flexible by arrangement.
We ask that you do not arrive before 3.30 p.m. and departure is by 10.30 a.m.

Bedroom 2 with twin single beds.
Bathrooms: En suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath/shower over, wc, bidet and double hand basin.
Main spacious bathroom with cubicle shower (variety of jet settings), wc, bidet and hand basin.
Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen well equipped throughout. Cooker, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. Kitchen table and chairs. Door leads out onto one area of terrace where the plunge pool, outdoor bar and bbq are situated.
Utility Room: Washing machine, electric water heater.
Living Rooms: 2 lounges - Main one furnished with 2 settees, 2 armchairs, coffee table, standard lamp. TV lounge, settee, armchair, coffee table, LCD TV, DVD player, freeserve/Sky satellite, internet connection. Both rooms have sliding doors leading onto terraces.
Other: Dining area with glass top dining table seating 8, dresser and variety of dvds and books. Spacious and airy entrance hall with doors either side leading onto terraces.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels provided and changed weekly. Property can be cleaned weekly by arrangement at additional cost.

Accessibility
The penthouse is the only apartment on the 9th floor. A lift takes you to the 8th and a set of stairs to the 9th.

Outside
The private terraces surrounding the property are furnished with various sets of tables and chairs, sun loungers, and easy chairs. The plunge pool (approx 3x2m) is solar heated.
Close to this is the bbq area with table and chairs and an outdoor bar with barrel table and bar stools. Tropical palms and plants surround the terraces.

Coast/Beach
San Cristobal Beach is opposite the penthouse. There is a water park (open high season) and a variety of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, diving, etc. Other activities include paragliding, horse riding, hiking and various clubs and discotheques along the coast.

Golf
There are two 18-hole courses within half-an-hour's drive and a further course 45 minutes away.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada ski resort within easy driving distance for a day's skiing.

Special interest holidays
We have packages catering for honeymoons, special occasions, etc. We can also provide the services of "Pamper by Design" who will take care of your hair, make-up and nails.

Travel
Malaga and Granada airports are both approximately an hour away. Car hire is not necessary for your stay in Almunecar and we are happy to organise a taxi to and from the airport. However if you wish to hire a car, there is a hire office 200m from the penthouse and reserved underground parking on the urbanizacion.

Distances
Almuñécar is ideally located for taking an excursion to some of the wonderful sights the southern coast of Spain has to offer. Spectacular mountain scenery, unspoilt white towns, historic monuments, all within easy reach. You can laze on the beach in the morning, and in the afternoon visit local villages (Otivar, Jete or Lentejí) or Las Alpujarras, which are a series of mountain foothills that lie between Sierra Nevada and the sea with beautiful valleys and extraordinary snow peaks.

Further details
There is a very convenient supermarket just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment where you will find most items you require.

Booking notes
A security deposit of 400 euros is required. 25% deposit required on booking with the full payment due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Sorry smoking is not permitted inside.

Guest comments
Wow, even nicer than it looked in the pictures. So large and spacious and beautiful views. We don't close the curtains at night, the views are lovely. We always wanted to get back. We didn't do the sightseeing we planned, we preferred to relax on the terraces. The quality and choice of furnishings are tasteful.
