Easy car access to places such as Alicante, Valencia cities & airports, Benidorm, Altea, Calpe, Denia, Guadalest (a stunning Moorish mountain village) etc. The Villa is within walking distance of Benitachell Village and the supermarket (1000 metres), with tennis, football & golf (Javea Golf Course) all a very short walk away.

Notes on accommodation
The staircase in the villa is carpeted for safety ie wet feet. There are fans in the house for the summer periods and it has gas central heating for the odd cold winter evening.
Outside
Villa Maria set in its own grounds surrounded by olive trees and vine yards has its own private 8 x 4m pool with lighting. Barbecues and several patio areas for dining.
Coast/Beach
The local beach is 1.5km away at the foot of the mountain. It is a small sheltered bay, perfect for swimming and snorkelling with a small beach bar and cafe. Slightly further a field, about a 10 minute drive away, you will find the large superb sandy beaches of Javea and Moraira.
Golf
Within a 5 minute drive you will find 2 lovely courses in Javea and Moraira. If you want to go slightly further afield, a 15 minute drive will take you to the magnificent championship course at La Sella which was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal.
Travel
There is the choice of flying into several different airports. This give you great choice when booking flights.
Alicante - 1hr. Valencia - 1hr. Murcia - 2hrs.
Travelling from any of the airports is very easy as the A7 takes you directly to the outskirts of the town.
Distances
The lovely village of Benitachell is only 10 minutes walk away and the fantastic resorts or Javea & Moraira just a 10 minute drive.
Further details
The property is located at the foot of the aptly named Cumbre del Sol -Summit of the Sun. The area boasts magnificent sea and mountain views - the spectacular Montgo mountain is a unique landmark and also on a clear day the island of Ibiza can be seen from the Cumbre del Sol. Activities around the Cumbre Del Sol include multiple swimming pools, a horse riding centre and tennis courts. The tourist office offers free guided walks of the area in English and Spanish during the summer.
Within 15 minutes walk of the villa is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green and heated swimming pool.
Nearby the chic resort of Moraira has a marina, smart shops and sandy beach, whilst in the opposite direction is Javea with its quaint old town, port area and long stretch of beach. Both have many restaurants and other facilities.
Further along the coast to the South is Benidorm, where there are a number of activities for children in the Benidorm area which include Mundomar Marine Park, Aqualandia Water Park and Terra Mitica 'historical' theme park.
To the North is Denia where you can take a day trip to Ibiza by ferry. Also in summer, pleasure boats sail between Denia and Cabo San Antonio up to 3 times a day. El Vergel safari park is near Denia and also in the area are a number of go-karting tracks.
The historic Valencia City is about 1 hour 15 minutes drive and is well worth a visit for the Central Market, and the Oceanographic (spectacular aquarium) that forms part of the City of Arts and Sciences
