Our property has been carefully renovated to retain many of its original features, while still catering for the modern life. Situated near our own property, it has 3 bedrooms, lounge/diner, full kitchen and bathroom. Outside there is a pool with a large terrace area and a further 3 terraced areas with BBQ and patio furniture. Set in rural Andalucia, within the Subbetica National park our property offers a glorious rural location, ideal for country lovers, walkers, wildlife enthusiasts and is also an ideal place to relax and soak up the sun by the pool. Whilst set in the countryside, there is a small supermarket and Bar/Restaurant in the local village, which is only a 20 minute walk { 3 min drive } away and 3 larger towns within 20km. Cordoba itself is a 35 min drive away, with Sevilla, Malaga and Granada all within 1 and a half hours drive.

Changeover day
We are Flexible on changeover days and also arrival and departure times, although as a guide we generally ask for guests not to arrive before 3pm and to depart before 11am.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds, wardrobe and bed side cabinet.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds, wardrobe and bed side cabinet.
Bathrooms: Bathroom, fully tiled, with wc, pedastal/hand basin and corner shower.
Kitchen: Full gally kitchen equipped with, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric ceramic hob and oven, kettle, toaster and utensils.
Living Rooms: Open plan Lounge/Dining room with 3 seater and 2 seater sofa, coffee table, television with free view sky satellite and DVD player. Dining area has round extending table and chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All Linen and Towels provided, including pool towels. Linen is changed on a weekly basis or as required. An iron and ironing board is also supplied. All above at no extra cost.

 

Notes on accommodation
We supply Fans to all rooms for the summer and oil filled radiators for those cooler days. A welcome pack is supplied upon your arrival. All of the above is included in the price as is electricity and gas.

Outside
Our villa has three private patio areas, one with a bamboo roof for shade, one with a large BBQ and another with patio table and chairs. Our 9m x 5m fully tiled pool has a large tiled terrace with parasols and sun loungers. Your privacy will be respected at all times.

Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol and its numerous beach side resorts is an hour and 20 minutes drive away.

Golf
There is an impressive 18 hole par 72 course 40 minutes away at Antequera, set in wonderful scenery with spectacular views of the mountains.

Travel
We recommend flights to Granada (1 hour 30 mins drive) 0r Seville (1 hour 20 mins drive) with Ryanair.
Alternitavely Easyjet to Malaga (1 hour 20 mins drive).
We strongly recommend hiring a car if you wish to visit National Parks etc. We will pick you up from the airport if required at a cost of 100 euros return.

Cabra (largish town):- 20 mins by car.
Lucena (large town):- 20 mins by car.
Cordoba City:- 40 mins by car.
Seville City:- 1hr 40 mins by car.
Granada City:- 1hr 40 mins by car.
Malaga (coast):- 1hr 20 mins by car.
Iznajar Lake:- 45 mins by car.

Further details
There is a very friendly bar/restaurant in the local village as well as a small supermarket. We supply drinks for your consumption should you require them at a cost of: Wine @ 3.50 euros per bottle, Beer and soft drinks @ 50 cents a can. Within a 20 mins drive there are 3 largish towns, Montilla, Cabra and Lucena which all provide many shops and lovely restaurants.

Weather Guide:
The summers are hot and you are virtually guaranteed full sun every day ( June - end Sept ). Winters are, as you would expect, cooler but most days are bright sunshine. You can still get a tan in winter!! Below is a guide to the winter temps.

Booking notes
Mid week bookings are taken as well as the normal Sat to Sat.
A deposit of £50 p/w will secure your booking. The final balance can be paid upon arrival in euro cash form.
