Large fully fitted kitchen / Diner with all utensils. Large lounge with leather suite and english TV. Notes on accommodation
Wood burner and gas heaters are provided for the winter months. Free internet access in the village hall.
Outside
Outside the apartment there is a large balcony connecting the master bedroom and the lounge. A south facing terrace fenced and gated with table and four chairs, 2 sun loungers (summer months), large parasol and barbeque. The cave house has a secret internal terrace with table and chairs, to the front a private area with table, chairs, sun loungers and bbq. The Cave House guests have use of a hot-tub belonging to owners which is on site.
Coast/Beach
Lake Negratin with its man made stone beach is only a 10 minute drive away, ideal for sunbathing, swimming, fishing and in the summer months you can hire pedaloes and canoes.
Golf
Golf course in Granada about 1 hours drive.
Travel
The closest Airport is Granada, only one hours drive, with cheap flights throughout the year with Ryanair from Stansted, Nottingham East Midlands or Liverpool. Almeria Airport is only one and a half hours drive.
Distances
The Towns of Baza and Guadix are 20 minutes away both with historical and architectural interest, many shops and bars/restaurants.
The troglodyte village of Purullena is only a 20 minute drive, so called for its vast amount of cave dwellings. The village has a cave museum which is a an interesting visit for only €2 per person. There are a lot of tourist shops selling locally produced pottery, bars and restaurants.
Granada City is an hour from Bácor.
Further details
There are many outdoor swimming pools locally which are open from June – September, approx. midday – 8.00pm and cost from €2 per person, many of these have sunbathing and picnic areas and a Bar.
For a more relaxing soak there are the thermal springs in Zujar, A pool with naturally warm spring water supposedly to have natural healing powers. The pool overlooks the lake with wonderful views, there is a round bar/restaurant above built into the mountain. This is only 20 minutes away from Bácor.
Also 10 minutes away is the Sierra de Baza national park, with its stunning views and walks. In the heart of the park there is a restaurant/bar with an activity centre for outdoor pursuits.
