This large sea view apartment is directly opposite a small beach and so close to the sea that from the large terrace or in the lounge, it feels like you can almost touch it. It offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar, Africa and the Atlas Mountains. The apartment is a short distance from Estepona marina, La Duquesa, supermarkets and the attractions of Andalucia. The apartment has modern neutral décor, cool, light marble floors, BBQ and a south-facing terrace that gets the sun until late afternoon. It is a perfect private space for a relaxing holiday. Child friendly with a well kept unexposed private communal garden, pool and parking. Linen, towels, digital TV, stereo, DVD provided. Estepona's charming old town, with cobbled streets and typical Andalucian houses, is a short drive along the coast. Marbella, Puerto Banus and Casares are all close by. Las Bougainvillas is a private apartment within Buenas Noches which comprises mainly detached villas.

Other: Duplex style apartment, main through lounge/dining area is accessed via a set of stairs up into the apartment. The front door is on the ground floor level and has a large storage area for luggage, prams and golf equipment. Child friendly and safe.

The apartment is cleaned before you arrive and when you leave. Each bed is made up with one full set of linen and two towels provided. No beach towels. For a two week stay an extra set of linen is provided. Extra cleaning/linen at extra cost.

Notes on accommodation
Situated West of Estepona's marina 7 minutes along the A7 / N340. Opposite a local beach which is accessed via a footbridge. Within walking distance to a large Mercadona supermarket, pizzeria, restaurant / bar and small parade of shops,Gran Estepona Hotel with gym and spa. The majority of the attractions are a short drive from the apartment, Selwo Safari Park, Estepona's golf clubs, Estepona's old town, tennis clubs, horse riding, sailing clubs and spas, are all within a 10 minute drive away. The coast is lined with several coves, beaches and beach bars, to truly explore a car is a must. Malaga, Gibraltar, the beautiful Andalucian mountain villages Casares, Gaucin, Ronda, Coin, Ujen, Mijas, Cadiz and Jebrique are within driving distance. Puerto Banus is 25 minutes away for night life, shopping and markets, Marbella Orange square 30 minutes.Tarifa for surfing, sand dunes and fast day ferries to Africa is 30 mins from this convenient private apartment.

Accessibility
All corridors are accessible by wheelchair. However there is a flight of stairs up in to the apartment. These stairs are wide enough for a wheelchair.

Outside
The apartment has a shared pool set in a mature well kept small garden. It is safe and secure for children and you can see the pool from the terrace in the apartment. The apartment has a large 20m2 south facing terrace.

Coast/Beach
There is a small local beach directly opposite accessed via a footbridge. Within walking distance are the excellent La Perla beach and Casares del Mar beach and bar. Estepona and the surrounding coastline has a variety of coves and beaches that are all worth a visit. Nearby Sabinillas beach with its golden sands and promenade is a family favourite. Nikki Beach, Buddah Beach and Silks Beach in nearby Marbella are all places to be seen.

Golf
The apartment is well positioned for golfers. It is 5 minutes away from Estepona Golf and 10 minutes away from Puerto La Duquesa Golf. Sotogrande, Marbella Country Club and all the courses around Puerto Banus are within a 20 - 30 minute drive. The famous Valderamma and La Cala are also within easy reach. The size of this apartment appeals to groups of golfers due as it has ample space for upto 6 people plus their luggage and space for golf equipment. Restaurants and night life are in abundance in Estepona, La Duquesa and Puerto Banus.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada mountains and Granda are approximately 3 hours drive from the apartment.

The apartment is perfectly located along the coastal road and within driving distance to all of Estepona and Andalucia's amenities. The only way to truly explore and get the most of what Andalucia has to offer is by car as there is so much to do. Close to the apartment you will find all of the following: Selwo Safari Park Estepona, Aqua slide park, Tivolli World fun fair (Benalmadena), kite, board, windsurfing and days to Morocco from Tarifa, tennis clubs, polo, horse riding, day spas, spa hotels and country clubs, natural salt spas, Spanish lessons, cooking lessons, go karting, sailing, diving, dolphin watching, plenty of shopping, cycling the coast and villages, local markets, rustic and contemporary restaurants, wine tasting, walking and exploring Estepona national nature reserve, day trips to Rhonda, Cadiz or short 30 minute drive to a variety of authentic white washed Andalucian villages.

Travel
The apartment is a 35 minutes drive from Gibraltar airport or up to 1 hour from Malaga. The nearest motorway is 8 kms away - E15.

Distances
The apartment is just off the N340/A7 and very easy to find. The centre of Estepona town is an 8 minute drive along the coastal road. The Spanish town and beach resort Sabinillas is a 6 mins drive from the apartment and Puerto La Duquesa just a few mins further along. Puerto Banus is a 25 minute drive and Marbella just 30 minutes.

Further details
There are several banks, restaurants and shops in both Estepona and Sabinillas. Estepona has a huge Carrefour which is accessible and very easy to find. Estepona also has several markets for local produce and gifts. Estepona, Sabinillas and Puerto La Duquesa offer a huge variety of restaurants, feel free to email me for details of the top 10.

Booking notes
Making a booking is really easy. I email a booking form, confirm payment details and send receipts via email promptly. I confirm your booking details with my manager, they anticipate your arrival and provide keys to the apartment when you get there. I usually prefer a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the booking and the balance paid 6 weeks prior to departure. Payment by sterling or euros online transfer, cheque, credit card balance transfer, PayPal subject to additional PayPal fees.

It is a short drive out of the main town away from all the noise but there are a couple of lovely restaurants and a shop within walking distance plus the beach! The booking experience is easy and sets the holiday off to a good start. The apartment is clean, safe and secure. Highly recommended. Julie - I absolutely love this place, it's very good holiday accommodation with amazing views. The owner is hands on and pleasant to deal and the locals are too. Keveen from Richmond - I recently hired this apartment for my hen weekend and I'm going back with my husband this year! I was originally concerned whether it would be big enough for 6 girls but to my surprise it was amazing! We all had space and the apartment is very bright, sunny, private and not overlooked so we had plenty of privacy and the accommodation totally complimented my hen weekend.

I live in a lovely village in Surrey and work in the service industry in London, England. When I am not working hard, gardening, cooking or helping my guests plan a good holiday, I like to travel.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
14 years ago whilst on holiday in Andalucia I stumbled across my apartment and bought it the same year. I could not resist Estepona because it is a white washed Andalucian village on sea and it retains its Spanish heritage, lots of Spanish people still live there. I bought my property because I thought it was special and this is why: It is low rise and not overlooked which is hard to find. It is on an established private complex with just one small south facing block and lots of individual detatched villas so you get a feel for Andalucian life and it is safe and welcoming It has clear sea views and huge skies, I often get to see the sun rise on the horizon early in the morning and the Atlas mountains. It is large and due to it being a short drive out of town you get an increased sense.

Unique benefits of the property
As well as the benefits of sea views, close proximity to a beach, big skies and the privacy of not being overlooked, you will really enjoy the asthetics of the complex. Buenas Noches is an older complex developed predominantly for individually designed residential villas with their own pools therefore it surrounds you with Andalucian life. The apartment also benefits from being West of Estepona on the coastal road which makes it very very easy to find it to begin with, very easy to navigate from it when you are there and very quick and easy to get in to the town centre as the West is the quiet side of Estepona and it is the low rise side too. Buenas Noches is a spacious peaceful private haven on the edge of town away from the hustle but close enough to just hop back in when you want to.
