Casa Vista Mar is in one of Spain's most beautiful regions with all the charm you expect from a Spanish coastal resort. The villa is close to the beach and resort centre yet in an exclusive, peaceful residential area and sleeps six comfortably having 2 twin bedrooms 1 double and two bathrooms. The kitchen and main bathroom have recently been refurbished to a high standard and the open plan lounge/dining room has also undergone refurbishment to give maximum comfort to guests. Central heating/log burner have also been installed. There are two terraces (one sheltered) giving stunning sea/mountain views, a small garden and also the use of a fabulous pool which is restricted to a handful of private villas: nine times out of 10 you will find you have the pool to yourself. There is car port for one car. The villa is ideal for couples, families or a quiet break for two. Also very close to the beach, marina, restaurants, bars, fabulous shops, supermarkets and Moraira's famous Friday market.

Rates are for the property per week - UK Pounds and are fully inclusive for up to six people including all utilities, linen, towels, and 24 hour contact with our service company, if required. Rates are also plus 11 euros per person per rental period for laundry, payable locally. Long winter lets available £675 per month exclusive of electricity. Log burner has recently been installed. Changeover day
Changeover is flexible - I do like to keep continuity however to Saturday arrivals in high season, other periods may be flexible. 4pm arrival with 10am departure may also be flexible out of high season.

Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, sink, fridge/freezer. Store room with beach equipment including beach loungers, umbrellas, buckets, spades, fishing nets, a variety of inflatables, body boards, lots of items kindly left by previous guests.
Living Rooms: The large lounge/dining room has stunning views of resort/sea/mountains & access to upper terrace. Two and three seater setees, Sky TV, DVD, Video. Dining table and chairs. Books/games/DVDs/information folder. Two radiators/log burner for winter months.
Other: On the covered upper terrace, there is a large table and chairs for outdoor dining, the large lower terrace has ample room for loungers, BBQ etc.

Linen and towels are included (not beach towels). The villa is thoroughly cleaned and linen changed after each rental period. Further cleaning can be arranged, if required, but is charge to guests.

Notes on accommodation
In cooler months there are controlled central heating radiators in all rooms plus the hall and kitchen. A recently installed log burner in the lounge is a fantastic asset and very cosy for winter. There is also an electric towel rail in the main bathroom. All rooms have ceiling fans for summer months and there is a large floor standing fan in the lounge. The villa is in an elevated position so attracts sea breezes. The en suite bedroom has air-conditioning. The villa is suitable for children and cot and high chair are available at no extra cost. In the lounge there are two folders with lots of information about Moraira and the surrounding area to help guests get the most out of their stay. There are also games, DVD's, CD's and a large number of books. The Manager of the company who look after the villa is always readily available should guests have a problem and her tel. number can be found on the notice board in the kitchen.

Outside
Large and very quiet communal pool restricted to only a handful of private villas. 90% of the time you will have the pool to yourselves as residents never seem to use it. The villa has a small garden and two terraces. The upper terrace is very sheltered and an ideal spot for dining, with access from the lounge it gives glorious views of Moraira, El Portet, sea and mountains. The large lower terrace is ideal for sun bathing as there is lots of room for the loungers as well another patio table and six chairs. There is a BBQ in the adjacement storage room together with many items for the enjoyment of children.

Coast/Beach
The main beach in Moraira is 1km or a 20 minute walk directly downhill from the villa and the beautiful bay of El Portet is just around the corner from the Marina. There are other lovely coves in the area with sandy beaches which are very safe for children. Water sports are available from the main beach. Calpe is about 20 minutes away giving a beautiful coastal drive and here you can get boat trips along to Benidorm to the South or Denia to the North. Calpe is famous for its fish restaurants.

Golf
The local golf course is only a few minutes away (Club Golf de Ifach). Javea 20 mins (with an excellent restaurant open to non golfers) Don Cayo near Altea 30 minutes and the Marriot Golf resort and Spa, Denia is about 30 minutes, (golf for men and fabulous spa treatments for ladies) there are other courses in the region. Special interest holidays
Easy access to internationally renowned cycle routes along the coast and in the valleys of Jalon, Orba and Gallinera. Serious cyclists can tackle famous climbs such as Coll de Rates in the Jalon Valley. With quiet roads through vineyards and olive groves, through the valley floors and up over the numerous mountain top climbs, you can choose a leisurely 'cruise' or a 'testing climb'. The villa has been used in the off peak season by many cycling and triathlon clubs for winter training.

Travel
Alicante/Valencia are approx 1 hours drive with excellent road/motorway access. Both airports leading out directly onto the main highway.
There is an excellent choice of car hire companies in both airports and these can be booked prior to leaving for Spain. Details available Pick ups can be arrange for guests not wishing to drive although car hire is adviseable. There are ferries from Denia to Ibiza and Majorca and boat trips to Altea Javea Denia and Benidorm are available from Calpe.

Moraira centre 1km. Calpe 20 minutes. Altea 30 minutes. Benidorn 40 minutes. Javea 20 minutes. Denia 40 minutes. Jalon, Orba and Gallinera Valleys 40 minutes. Guadalest and Font Algar 1 hour, Valencia approx 1 1/2 hrs.

Further details
There is a large selection of restaurants and bars in Moraira and wonderful coffee shops in front of the marina for that early morning stop. Also to be found are fabulous shops, banks, supermarkets, hair salons, gym and Moraira's famous Friday market. Each evening there is a 'night market'. On the coastal road to Calpe there are many more fabulous restaurants. This stretch of road has a wonderful coastline with plenty of coves for you to explore. Calpe is famous for its fish restaurants and from here you can get a boat to view the fabulous Costa Blanca coast line as you travel north to Javea and Denia or south to Altea and Benidorm. Water sports, fishing, go karting, tennis are just some of the leisure activites on offer. A little further afield Font Algar is a series of waterfalls and rock pools and an ideal place for a leisurely day to swim and picnic. There are some lovely old towns and villages to explore, Altea with its excellent beach, shops and wonderful 'Old Town' and Guadalest, the village perched on top of a rock being two of the most popular. A trip to the beautiful Jalon, Orba and Gallinera valleys makes for a wonderful day out and there are suggested days out by car to be found in the information folder in the villa. For those not wishing to drive too far afield there is an agent in Moraira where trips/tours can be booked. For a more lively day - and night - Bendorm with its theme and water parks and famous Benidorm Palace is just a short distance. For a truly memorable day out Valencia is just over an hour away and the 'hop on hop off' bus is a very easy way to see all that this fabulous city has to offer. There are folders in Casa Visa Mar with lots of information to enable guests to make the most of their stay in Moraira.

Booking notes
25% deposit plus completed Rental Agreement is required when booking with the balance, plus a £100 security deposit, payable eight weeks prior to the date of travel. The key is sent separately two weeks prior to travel.
