Just behind the complex, you can enjoy the Calblanque Natural Park, with kilometers of unspoiled beaches on the Mediterranean. Alternatively, the nearby top class La Manga Golf Club Resort offers you a lively international atmosphere (casinos, shops, restaurants, 3 championship golf courses etc). There is also a local English shop for all those little tastes from home. Nearby villages of Cabo de Palos, Algar and Los Belones are working Spanish villages, with specialist Spanish cuisines.

Notes on accommodation
Apartment has a fully ducted air conditioning / hot and cold installed. The facilities are ideal for children / families with a shared pool (main and children pool) and nearby beach (approx 7 mins walk). There is a lift from the garage to the apartment floor. The apartment balcony overlooks the gardens and nearby there are children areas with slides/wooden horses etc.
Accessibility
There is a lift to the apartment, leading from the underground garage/ground floor. Also from the road level there are ramps to avoid any stairs. All stairways can be avoided by wheelchair users, for access to the complex and the apartment. Please email for any specific queries.
Outside
The apartment overlooks the gardens. The communal swimming pool has a separate shallow area for young children. There is a large communal area for sun loungers around the pool. Watch the sun rising in the morning while you enjoy breakfast on the balcony or enjoy a family meal as the sun sets over the mountains.
Coast/Beach
Mar de Cristal beach is around 7 mins stroll with the world famous La Manga strip being only around 10 mins drive. A 5 minute drive takes you to the Calblanque National Park, which has some of the best natural, unspoilt beaches (on the Mediterranean) in Spain.
Golf
The world famous La Manga Golf Course is just around 5 mins drive. Numerous others courses can be found within a 30 min drive. Please ask for further details.
Travel
The apartment is 20 min from Murcia ( San Javier) airport. 50 min from Alicante airport. 15 min from Cartagena. 10 min from La Manga Strip. 20 min from Dos Mares shopping complex.
A Car is not essential, but useful if you would like to explore the local villages and sites. Taxis and hired cars can be hired locally.
Distances
Los Belones is the nearest village, 2 min drive or 15 minute walk with more shops and restaurants. It has the English shop for those little tastes from home. There is so much history and culture in the area (Roman city of Cartagena only 15 mins away) plus light houses, the local working villages, the salt lakes and of course the natural reserve. The resort of San Pedro del Pinitar with its FREE mud baths and flamingos is only 30 mins drive.
Further details
The La Manga Club ( 5 mins drive) is great for children and families. The Club includes various sport and dance academies, Crazy Golf, and pool. The Spanish are very family friendly and children are welcome everywhere with special Children's Menus; with over 25 restaurants. Child Care is available together with Disco and Casino. Less then 15 mins drive away to, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theater/cinema, shopping areas. Less then 45 mins drive away and within easy reach of the apartment you will find climbing. Extra information La Manga Go - Karting, and many other sports facilities. Please ask for further details.
Booking notes
Prices stated are weekly for the apartment. Please ask for shorter/longer stays. All bookings must be paid in full 4 weeks before travel, any bookings made less than 4 weeks prior to travel must be paid in full immediately. An amount of £100 will also be required to cover the possibility of damages/breakages, and this will be refunded in full after inspection of apartment.
