Notes on accommodation
The house is fully central heated, quiet and child friendly.
Prices are for renting the entire property per week in euros. Short stays are permitted by requesting in advance.
Guests have access to all the facilities of the farmhouse including the parking area, children´s play area, private swimming pool with marvelous views of the poplar grove and completely private, barbecues, garden, solarium and garden furniture for taking the sun in total privacy or for dining outdoors in the evening.
There are several hectares of poplar grove around the farmhouse which belong to the property and are there for our guests to enjoy. Go for a stroll, hunt for wild mushrooms, or simply enjoy the shade of the trees.
Firewood is available for an additional charge.
The entire property can be rented or each house separately.
Cleaning, laundry, towels, sheets and other bedding provided at no additional cost.
Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request.
Pets are allowed.

Outside
The house has a large terrace where you can prepare and enjoy meals cooked on the barbecue or in the nearby kitchen. The poolside area has magnificent views and is very peaceful and totally private for swimming, lounging on the sun loungers or relaxing under the parasols.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches (Salobreña / Motril) are about 1 hour 20 minutes away by car. Marbella and Puerto Banús are a couple hours away.
Travel
Granada airport is 40 minutes away by car. Málaga is 1 hour 30 minutes away. Owing to its rural setting, hiring a car is essential.
Distances
There are a great number of places to visit on day trips: Granada- 45 min; La Subética National Park- 1 hour; The Alpujarras- 1 hour 20 minutes; Sierra Nevada National Park- 1 hour 20 minutes; Córdoba- 1 hour 30 minutes; Seville- 2 hours.
Further details
The historic town of Alcalá la Real is just 10 minutes away by car and offers many services including an ample selection of bars and restaurants, supermarkets, banks, post office and 24-hour medical centre. The town´s market day is on Tuesday.
The small historic town of Moclín is also just 10 minutes away by car.
Activities in the area: Rambling in the countryside around the farmhouse.
Fishing and Pesca y canoeing just 10 minutes away by car.

The balance is payable upon arrival at the house.

the countryside house was ideal for us. cortijo itself was fine, lovely location, not too far from Granada and the beaches.Rooms are quite big, with a private pool.

Born in the area, as the manager of this farmhouse it's an honor for me and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible and help in order to discover this little corner of Andalusia. We are pleased to provide information of the rural lifestyle, and activities in the area. We are always working to improve the facilities at our farmhouse.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Cortijo it is a unique private place, very quiet location. with nearest neighbours (Spanish farmers) at 500 mt. You can feel secluded but not remote, and just 10 min driving to city with amenities, supermarket and restaurants. Most holidaymakers enjoy just relaxing at the pool area or visiting the historical cities, Granada (50 min) Cordoba (1 h 30 min).
