Coast/Beach
The Costa del sol consists of a string of fine sandy beaches where the average water temperature is 64F and picturesque towns have abundant tourist amenities. Attractions include zoos, bullfights, water parks and casinos. Puerto Banus is a berthing place for some of the worlds most spectacular yachts and sailing ships and is home to Marbella's premier tourist attractions including the Casino.
Golf
Designed by Antonio Garciá Garrido and former Ryder Cup player and two-time World Cup champion Manuel Pinero, La Quinta offers panoramic vistas over Marbella’s Golf Valley on the Costa del Sol. A successful round on this golf course during your golf holiday requires not only accuracy in order to avoid its trees, water hazards and the large albeit shallow sand traps along the fairways, but also stamina, for it is forgivingly up and down. Deeper bunkers lie in wait for stray approach shots to the greens. The most difficult hole is considered to be the long 15th with its dogleg to the left. Since it first opened La Quinta has added an extra nine holes and replaced several holes on the original course. The third loop of nine, which can be played either separately or together with the other course, leads you back to the clubhouse past the Pinero-managed golf school near the 6th hole. The clubhouse is one of the best equipped on the Costa del Sol.

Kaede Japanese restaurant is located on the top terrace with panoramic views overlooking Marbella's Valley of golf. You can enjoy spectacular cooking at one of the teppan-yaki tables or the sushi and sashimi at the Sushi Bar.
The cozy Aljama Bar with its open firplace is perfect for relaxing with an aperitif or after dinner drink. Cocktails and snacks are served on the terrace overlooking the gardens and La Quinta golf course at the seasonal El Mirador Poolside Bar. The La Quinta Restaurant situated in the Golf Club, is a place to enjoy splendid cuisine in the capable hands of the prestigious Arturo Cantoblanco Group. The Chef offers you a variety of gastronomic styles to satisfy the most demanding of paletes.
