Changeover day
The preferred change over day is Saturday but we can be flexible on this dependant on the time of year. Arrival time is after 4.00pm and departure time is 10.00am on the day of leaving, however we do try to be accommodating.

Notes on accommodation
The whole villa is only rented between the end of May until the end of September. The apartment is rented between October and May when the owners live permanently on the upper level and will be on hand to assist, should you wish. Heating is provided in this period. WIFI Internet access available. Only the main villa has air-conditioning. The villa is very private within its walled and gated area. It is marble and tiled throughout and is suitable for children. Optional extras: welcome packs, cots, highchairs, pushchairs, baby sitting, taxi service - prices on request. Towels and linen are changed weekly. Please bring beach/pool towels. No parties of males/females only. Please note that smoking inside the villa is not permitted. No pets.
At certain times of the year the 4 bedroomed part of the villa is also available giving flexibility to enjoy this wonderful villa. ie as a 6, 4 or 2 bedroomed vacation.

Outside
The grounds are extensive and incorporate a citrus orchard (which for safety reasons is private) and small children will require supervision. The Upper BBQ area, overlooking the pool has 2 BBQ's, hot plate, 3m teak table, 10 teak chairs and large umbrella. The huge pool patio is complete with sun loungers and a pool shower. The floodlit pool is 8x4m. There is a covered patio with table and chairs.

Coast/Beach
A 2 minute drive or 10 mins walk takes you to either of the 2 large sandy beaches located on both sides of the famous Ifach rock, both are EEC blue flag and have many bars and restaurants. At the foot of the Ifach is the fishing port of Calpe with its many renowned fish restaurants. There are many more beaches and hidden coves to explore along the coast. A short stroll along the promenade brings you to the old town of Calpe with its narrow cobbled streets and shady squares.

Golf
Moraira (Ifach) golf course is 10 mins by car and is a 9 hole course. Visitors are welcome. Javea Golf course is 20 mins by car, although classified as an 18 hole course there are 9 greens played off 18 different tees. Visitors are accepted however a handicap certificate is required. La Sella golf course is 20 mins by car and is a full 18 hole course. Visitors are welcome. There are two newly completed 18 hold golf courses on the outskirts of Benidorm which are 20 mins by car and many other golf courses within a 60 min drive.

Travel
Alicante airport is an easy 45 min drive. Valencia airport is an easy 60 min drive. Murcia airport is an easy 1¼ hour drive. Detailed directions of how to get to us and key handover information is given at the time of booking. Car hire is available at all airports or a taxi costs around 70 euros (from Alicante). Collection to and from the airport can be arranged. Once at the villa a car is not essential but to explore the area one is recommended, there is a supermarket within 2 mins walk

Further details
Calpe has all of the usual shops, bars, restaurants, chemists etc that you would expect in a bustling town. Benidorm: here you will find Mundomar with it's aquatic shows, Aqualandia water park, Terra Natura wildlife park and the Terra Mitica theme park. For an unforgettable night out, Benidorm Palace (spectacular gala evening), Excalibur (medieval jousting show) are a must.
The 2008 Valencia Grand Prix to be held over the weekend of 23rd & 24th August is only 1 hour away.
