Notes on accommodation
In order to avoid disappointment, please take care when choosing your apartment as only south facing apartments enjoy the sun and only ground floor apartments with a garden allow barbeques. At this apartment you will enjoy the sun all day and barbeques and privacy.

Accessibility
The property has good wheel chair access with ramps and low level lighting.
Outside
The lounge and double bedroom open on to the large terrace where there is patio furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. Only ground floor apartments have gardens which allow barbeques. Gated steps lead down to the garden which is a secure area for young children to play.
Denia town and the beach are just a few minutes short flat walk.
Coast/Beach
The fantastic sandy beach at Denia with its watersports stretches for miles. It is a level 4 minute walk and there are watersports, restaurants and snack bars. A 15 minute drive over the scenic mountain road will take you to Javea where you will find Arenal Beach and all the local attractions of a typical Spanish town and holiday resort.

Travel
The apartment is ideally situated being roughly half way between Alicante (80 kms) and Valencia (90 kms) airports making access to it extremely easy.
Distances
Jalon Valley with its stunning scenery and traditional Spanish villages can easily be reached within 20 mins; Benidorm with Terra Mitica, Vergel Safari Park, Sea World and many other fascinating attractions are all less than half an hour away.

One of the most important local festivals is the 'Fiesta of Moors and Christians' usually held in June. Most of the towns in the area celebrate this festival at different times during the summer. Theatrically presented in impressive costumes, the townspeople are separated into Moorish and Christian filas (groups), and hold marches and mock battles which take place at various times and places throughout the area. The high point of this fantastic fiesta is the procession and firework display on the last day.
Clues to the region's history are very evident as you explore its villages, towns and cities. Place names have their Arabic roots but it's the architecture which is most striking. Ancient villages were built on hilltops and always featured winding streets to aid defence against marauders. Guadlest is a fortress village that dates back to the middle ages, perched at over 1500m on a mountain peak about 25 kms inland from Benidorm; it is still only accessible via a tunnel passing through 15m of solid rock.
Denia, is the largest of all the local towns. However, the town, rich in history, has still retained a lot of its old charm and is dominated by its impressive 16th Century castle.

Please book directly with the owners. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking with the remainder payable 8 weeks before commencement of your holiday.
Extra charges to be paid with your final payment: Holiday changeovers - £55.00 (60 Euros). This includes the cleaning, bedlinen and towels. Prices are based on one set of bedlinen and 1 bath and 1 hand towels per person per week. Extra laundry will be charged at £6.00 (9 Euros) per set.

"The apartment is ideally located for the beach and the town centre of Denia, also the castle is within easy walking distance and most definately worth a vist, both during the day and at night. The apartment's interior is modern and stylish and the apaprtment is very well equipped with all of the modern conveniences which takes the strain out of self-catering. The entire apartment complex is clean and well maintained including the swimming pool and surrounding gardens. I would definately recommend this property to other prospective holiday makers."

Within a short walk there are lovely shops and a beautiful beach. The area is flat and ideal for hiring a bicycle.
Unique benefits of the property
The important thing to be considered when renting accomodation in Denia is the orientation. This apartment faces South so it has the sun on the terrace and garden all day.
There is also the possibility to have a BBQ at this apartment which is not usually an option with apartments in complexes.
The apartment is outward looking and on the end so it is quiet and private.
