Outside
There are 3 terraces, the largest of which has spectacular mountain views towards the coast. It is equipped with a built-in BBQ, a wooden table and padded seating for 6 people. The second terrace is at the entrance to the property and is ideal for sunbathing and outside dining. The third is off of the lounge and is accessed via a stable door, ideal for morning coffee.
Coast/Beach
The coast is 45 mins drive and there are several small beaches in either direction.
Roquetas de Mar with its long sandy beaches, numerous bars, restaurants and shops is a 75 minute drive.

Driving time from airports.
Almeria 90 mins.
Granada 90 mins.
Malaga 150 mins.
A car is essential.
Distances
Granada with its Alhambra Palace is only 90 mins drive. Trevellez, the highest village in Spain, world-famous for its cured ham is 40 mins drive. The pretty villages of Bubion, Pampineira and Capilleria are all within 50 mins drive.
Skiing in the fabulous Sierra Nevadas with its many varied ski runs is only a 2 hour drive!
Further details
Mecina Bombaron is a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk on the GR7 route. It has several supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Just outside the village there is a large swimming pool with magnificent views over the valley.The pool area has a bar/ restaurant serving local cousine. Cadiar is a 10 min drive and has supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, cash points, chemist, baker, fresh fish and veg, butcher and bodega selling local wine.There are local weekly markets in the surrounding villages.
