It is set in typical Spanish village next to an orange orchard. A modern country house with beautiful mountain views. It is well equipped and furnished for summer holidays or winter retreats. The private pool has Roman steps for easy access and a seat and shower.

Changeover day
Changeover day flexible. Please vacate the property by 10am. If your return flight is late in the day it might be possible to delay this by prior arrangement if there is not another booking for that day.

Notes on accommodation
The main room has air conditioning and there are fans in the bedrooms. For winter lets there is a log fire in the lounge and small electric fires available for the bedrooms. There is a low barrier and gate to help prevent small children wandering into the pool area. Please let us know if you are bringing small children.
Accessibility
Not easy access for wheelchairs but all one level apart from 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.
Outside
The house has gardens on three sides and concrete with yucca plants in tubs on the other. Sunloungers are arranged around the pool. By the pool is a sheltered pergola with table and chairs and there is also table and chairs in another outside area. The pool is 8m x 4m and has Roman steps at one end and a seat and shower. There is a carport for two cars.
Coast/Beach
The main tourist beach is at Mojacar Playa about 20 mins drive. This is a long sandy beach with beach bars, beach shops and climbing frames for children, mini golf, horse rides etc. 20 mins in other direction is Garrucha which is a fishing harbour with good sea food restaurants and a huge market on Fridays. 30 mins drive is Agua Amarga and other smaller coves near the Cabo de Gata natural park.
Golf
The nearest is Corijo Grande about 10 mins drive (tel: 950 398 743).
Valle de Este, 950 398 743.
Desert Springs, 637 861 591.
Marina Golf, 950 133 325.
The others are about 20 to 30 mins drive.
I am not a golfer but from comments, I believe the Cotijo Grand course is not too serious and the Valle de Este is difficult and you need to take plenty of balls.
Travel
A car is essential. Almeria airport is 40 mins easy drive up the motorway. Alicante is 2 hours and a new motorway is opening soon from Murcia.
Distances
Nearest town is Los Gallardos is 7 mins. Turre has restaurants, hairdressers, banks, lots of shops etc. and is 12 mins drive. The old town of Mojacar about 15 mins. Granada, 2 hours. The Sierra Nevada mountains are a bit less. Nijar is 30 mins and Garrucha is 20 mins.
Further details
There are many and various shops and restaurants in the vicinity. In the village there is a shop. Various tradesmen stop nearby and sound there horn to announce their arrival. Opposite the house is a village school. There is a doctors surgery week days in the village with a doctor who speaks some English. In easy driving distance is go karting, caving, diving, golf, water park and horse riding, etc.

We can be flexible with changeover days. Deposits are £120 per week for low and mid season and £220 per week high season. The remainder is due on or before 6 weeks before arrival.
