Saturdays (but flexible).
Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning/heating in the all apartments. Children should be supervised in garden/pool area by an adult.
The whole villa price is based on no more than 18 people.
Outside
There is a large pool which is approx 5'6'' deep with three long steps at one end of pool, ideal for beginners (obviously with adult supervision required). 2 min El Casco tennis club . There is a patio set on each balcony with access to the lush tropical garden/pool area. There is a table tennis table, swing ball etc (in the garden area). There is a small child's above ground paddling pool. There is many sun loungers in the garden area with patio sets etc. There is a communal laundry room available to use close to the apartment.
Coast/Beach
Marbella is the choice of the rich and famous. The resort is large and stylish, with around 28km of beaches. Set against the stunning backdrop of the 'La Concha' mountain typical Andalusian houses are to be found along the picturesque alleys of Marbella's Old Town.A short drive is Puerto Banus, the ultimate in coastal charisma it would be hard to beat Puerto Banus, just west of the town. The nightlife is buzzing here with alfresco bars, piano clubs and discos which are open dusk until dawn.
Golf
Close to the following golf courses: El Rosario, Marbella, Santa Clara, Rio Real, Santa Maria, Cabino, Calanova and El Chaparral.
The Costa del Sol is often referred to as the Costa del Golf, its not surprising with a concentrations of top quality golf courses, nearing the 40's and fabulous weather almost all year round.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada resort (120 min drive) has skiing at an altitude of over 10,000 feet and brilliant sunshine most of the winter. With good weather the views are spectacular — almost unbelievable. From the top of the Veleta peak, skiers can see across the Mediterranean to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
The resort town itself, basically a sparse cluster of hotels and apartments at the base of the first series of lifts, is modern with a hint of traditional charm. It is purpose-built. It is here only for skiing and has been well located for that pursuit. It is not a traditionally Spanish enclave, nor does it appear in any sense Alpine; however, if you want to find snow in southern Spain, this is the place to be. When it does snow, it comes down light and dry because of the low humidity in Southern Spain.
Travel
Malaga airport is only 20/30 minutes.
Transfers to and from the airport are available.
Car hire is recommended.
Car hire can be arranged and delivered to the apartment.

5 min to many excellent golf courses, 2-5 min to many fabulous sandy beaches, 10/15 min to water park, 20/30 min to Malaga airport, 30/40 min to Gibraltar, 120 min to skiing at Sierra Nevada (Nov - April), 5 min to Marbella town centre
5 min La Canada (large indoor shopping mall). Excellent tennis club in El Rosario.
Further details
Villa Carola is very well located to take full advantage of everything the cosmopolitan area of Marbella has to offer.
El Rosario is very central to attractions on the Costa del sol.
El Rosario itself has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and a great tennis club. The lovely sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are a few minutes away by car and here there is an excellent chiringuito (beach bars). Marbella town is a short drive down the road, Malaga airport around 20/30 minutes, there is an excellent selection of first class golf courses nearby.
Funny Beach is a few minutes away it has Jet skis, go-carts, bumper boats etc.
Nikki Beach 5 min away.
Several water parks, some with the highest water chute's in Spain.
Selwo Marina (has dolphin and seal displays with other wild life shows etc).
Selwo adventure.
There are many markets every day along the coastal towns in the Costa del Sol.
Booking notes
1) A minimum of deposit required to confirm booking balance required 6 weeks before arrival - or you may wish to pay fully in advance. As soon as a booking is confirmed an email will be sent with details of address and directions etc.
2) A returnable deposit is required on arrival to apartment, which is Fully refundable (in case of any breakages etc).
3) Apartments are available from approx 1.30pm (or earlier depending on cleaners).
