Casa Tejeda is a new villa of traditional Andalucian finca construction with monopitch roofs and sloping beamed ceilings, giving spacious and airy accommodation, beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The villa has uninterrupted views over Lake Vinuela and the mountains beyond, and Mediterranean (and coast of Africa on clear days). It is under the spectacular backdrop of La Maroma, the highest peak in the Sierra Tejeda National Park (from which the villa takes its name). Less than one hours drive from Malaga airport, it is 25 minutes drive to the coastal resort of Torre del Mar, and onwards via motorway or coast road to Torrox Costa, Nerja etc. The Baviera golf complex is less than 35mins away.

Notes on accommodation
Underfloor heating and ceiling fans provide year round comfort.
Not particularly suitable for young children due to proximity of pool.
Outside
The private pool (8 x 4 metres) and terrace overlook a plot of approx. 8000 sq. metres of sloping hillside with uninterrupted views to the West over Lake Vinuela & mountains beyond, and to the South in the distance of the Mediterranean Sea & African coast.
Coast/Beach
The coastal resort of Torre del Mar is within 25 minutes drive of the villa. It has 4km of beach and a seafront promenade stretching to Caleta de Vélez (seaport with sailing and watersports) with many 'Chiringuitos' along the beach serving fresh barbequed fish and ice cool drinks.
Golf
Baviera golf complex is less than 35 minutes drive (no pun intended) near Caleta de Vélez.
Travel
Málaga airport is within one hours drive, and car hire, which is recommended, is easily available within the airport complex.
Distances
Casa Tejeda is situated between the picturesque 'white' villages of Alcaucin (5 mins drive) and Canillas de Aceituna (10 mins drive), both with banks, small shops, bars and restaurants. The Mediterranean coastal motorway is less than 30 mins drive with Málaga to the West and Nerja to the East.
Further details
Casa Tejeda is immediately below the boundary of the Sierras Tejeda/Almijara, and there are many access points into the National Park, affording many hours of pleasure for the naturalist, birdwatcher or photographer. The villa overlooks Lake Vinuela, with access for walking, boating & fishing.
