It is 10 minutes drive from the market town of Albox. The nearest beaches are 30 minutes drive. It is wonderfully sited in a part rural location, with backdrop views of the mountains and village of Arboleas. The house is set in mature gardens with fruit trees, plenty of off road parking, tables and chairs. The villa is situated next door to the owner who is available for any emergencies or information.

Changeover day
Normally Saturday, access from 4pm on first day to 10am on last day. Flexibility may be possible during low season.

Coast/Beach
There are numerous beaches in San Juan, Garrucha, Mojacar, Vera (including a naturist resort) all within 30-45 minutes drive. Cabo De Gata natural Park is less than an hour with its unspoilt beaches.
Golf
There are numerous golf course around, the nearest being 'The Desert Springs' site only 20 mins away.
Skiing
There is superb skiing approximately 2 hours away in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada.
Travel
A car is essential for this holiday. Almeria Airport, 1 hour drive.
Alicante Airport, 2 hour drive. Murcia Airport, 1 hour 40 mins.

This villa is ideally located for those wishing to spend a relaxing holiday, within easy reach of all amenities. Those looking for a quieter life may wish to just laze in the sun, or explore the dry river beds on foot where you can still see the goat herds and shepherds. This area of Spain also has good bird watching and golden eagles have been spotted in the mountains behind the Villa. The beautiful lakes of Baza are about an hour's drive, kayaking and canoeing is available at the lakes, with restaurants on the banks. For the children there is a waterslide park at Vera beach, Mini-hollywood the world famous film set is about an hour away - where they filmed many of the Spaghetti Westerns.
The villa is located 5 minutes drive or 20 minute stroll from the pretty white village of Arboleas, where there is a bakery, post office, small Spar, chemist, bank and a Saturday marke, Albox, the nearest town, is 10 minutes away it has an 24-hour emergency centre and larger supermarkets and shops.
Booking notes
A £100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. A £50 key/breakages deposit required at this time. The total £150 deposit does not form part of the rental payment which is due 8 weeks prior to stay.
The £150 will be retained until return of the key and damage inspection of the property after your holiday.
There will be a meet and greet service at the villa, where local information can be provided.
