The house is situated in a small quiet and very friendly village, amidst green rolling hills and rivers. 10 mins walk to a very inexpensive restaurant/bar and open air bar on the banks of the river Cabe. 7km from large town of Monforte de Lemos, 20 mins drive to the beautiful city of Ourense. A typical 4 course meal for 2 with a bottle of Galician wine averages 14 euros in total. There are abundant Bodegas (wine cellars) in the area to visit and sample before you buy. An excellent base for anyone interested in wildlife and birds. Fishing licenses available at 3 euros for 15 days. Permits in excellent trout rivers are 3 euros per day.

Balcony has a gate which will keep children in the level house area (no stairs accessable).
