The villa is situated about 4km from the village of Cómpeta, on a quiet hillside 1km off the Torrox road (A-7207). Set amongst vines, olive and fig trees. The villa is 400m from the National Park. Fully furnished and has a private HEATED swimming pool. There are spectacular views of the mountains to the north.

Further details
Cómpeta is one of the most attractive white washed villages in Andalucia. Set approximately 600m above sea level in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara, the village remains intrinsically Spanish and has several excellent restaurants and shops. The region offers beautiful scenery with mountains, an adjacent national park, clear seas, lovely beaches and many places of interest. Nerja is about 12km away, with beaches and pre-historic caves. Granada, Seville, Gibraltar and the busier resorts of the Costa del Sol are all readily accessible. Sports/leisure activities, including walking, climbing, horse-riding, golf and tennis are all available nearby. Skiing is also possible in the Sierra Nevada in winter (about 2 hours). The area is ideal for walking in autumn, winter and spring.

What can we say? Lovely villa, fab pool - incredible views, and the nicest possible neighbours, with lots of animals to visit. We fully intended to see the sights of southern Spain - but enjoyed ourselves so much, we hardly ever left poolside.

Lovely two bedroomed villa in a quiet location approximately 4km from Competa. Ideal for visiting Trailblazers Off Road motorcycling centre at Canillas De Albaida or just for exploring the spectacular countryside and "white villages". The caves at Nerja are about 30 minutes away and well worth a visit. The main bed is 2m wide, perfect for larger people, the second room contains twin beds. The villa is completely self contained with its own heated pool adjacent. You'll see great views of the mountains from all windows. The owners live nearby and keep horses, very kind and friendly folk they are too. My wife and I had a wonderful holiday at this villa and hope to return in the future.
