Safe walking and cycling on the flat tracks around the area. Large selection of excellent restaurants/bars locally and in Los Belones (1.5 miles away). Famous La Manga Club with championship golf courses, sports and spa facilities, Casino and restaurants are only a 5 minute drive away.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. In high season we may request that you vacate the apartment by 10am to allow for cleaning. Storage of bags can be arranged until your departure time.

Outside
The swimming pool is shared and has a separate shallow area for young children. There is a large communal area for sun loungers around the pool. Watch the sun rising in the morning while you enjoy breakfast on the balcony or enjoy a family meal as the sun sets over the mountains.
Coast/Beach
It is a 5 minute walk to the wide, sandy beach of Mar de Cristal with the warm shallow safe waters. The beaches on the Mediterranean are a 10 minute drive away on the La Manga Strip or for a secluded beach why not walk over the Calbanque trails.
Golf
There are three famous Championship Golf Courses at La Manga Club which is a 5 minute drive away. A new municipal course is now open at Los Alcazares (15 minutes drive). There are approx a further 20 golf courses within 1 hour to 1.5 hours drive away. There is also a small 9-hole par 27 course at the top of the La Mange Strip. Golfing trips can be pre-arranged through the owner.
Travel
Murcia Airport (San Javier) is a 20 minute drive away on mostly dual carriageway. The airport is serviced by various airlines including Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2 and Flyglobespan. Various Car Hire Companies operate from the airport (for the best rates check out Carjet.com). Transfers from the airport can be arranged. We can also provide information on local taxis.
Distances
Los Belones is 1.5 miles away and has a large selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars. The city of Cartagena is a 15 minute drive away (or a short train journey from the neighbouring village of Los Nietos). It has a beautiful promenade with a selection of cafes and restaurants around the harbour. There are also Roman ruins and various museums. Cabo de Palos is a 10 mins drive, has a beautiful harbour with fish restaurants and has a large Sunday market.

Booking notes
On booking we require a deposit cheque of £100 (which would not be refunded in the event of cancellation). A further £100 security cheque is also required to cover any loss/damage/breakages but will be refunded to you after your holiday. The full amount is to be paid 6 weeks before departure.
